FACULTY TO STUDENTS ARE 72 STUDENTS:1 TEACHER FOR ONE SUBJECT, THEY ARE PROS IN GENTERATING MASS ENGINEERING, THEY KNOW HOW TO PRODUCE ENGINNER, INFACT THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO PRODUCE A GOOD ENGINNER. FROM PES THE ONLY THING I LEARNED FROM THAT COLLEGE IS PUNCTUALITY WHICHED HELPED ME WHILE DOING JOB , LIKE CAME DAILY ON TIME AND LEAVE ON TIME. IN TERMS OF PROVIDING KNOWLEDGE FACULTY WAS SAME AS STUDENTS. I DONT WANT TO TAKE ANY FACULTY NAMES HERE , BUT REMENBER EVERY FACULTY IS BAD. Faculty:

The faculty at pes is great even though they are strict but know what they do. We are assigned a mentor every sem who will guide us thru it. In pes there are a total of 3 exams in a sem 2 are isa in sem assignment which are of 40 marks and one esa end sem assignment which is of 100. These are usually harder than other colleges exam. The exams are pretty revelant to the course.

The lab facilites and the constant upgrade in the syllabus to be upto date with the current market trend is one of the best part of the college. The faculties are determined to teach and they are very encouraging and well prepared before each class.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio might approximately be 15:1. The faculty student relationship is pretty good , they are very approachable , they care for the well being of the students and considers students for the research and many other things. They always encourage students to participate and acquire more skills. All the faculites are pretty good and experienced. We have the best faculty for all cse and ece branches.Majority of them are phd and master degree holders. The exams in our college are pretty strict and above average difficulty. We have 2 internals and one externals and we dont have any options in these exams. They are actually conducted in hybrid mode pen and paper or CBT. All the exams are considered for cgpa basis and even the labs and projects are considered. Less than 10% of students fail to clear the exam and they are given 2 chances in the same year to clear the particular course. The course is updated every year with the update in the real world and its upto date.

Faculty:

Strictly speaking about ece there are a lot of teachers like 1 class can have atleast 3 teachers for 1 subject. Teachers are very friendly and approachable even if you call in the middle of the night they would still clear your doubts but there are some oddballs among them too. Theres a mentoring session every week so if you are facing any difficulty regarding any subject you can go and ask him he will help you out and not only about studies if you are facing any problems he might help you with that too.

Lecturers are good, well qualified and most of them know what they are doing.

The faculty-to-student ratio is really good, there are many well qualified faculties. Each faculty has their own way of teaching, and are a bit strict. Mentorship is also good. Most of the faculty members will be always ready to solve students doubts, queries etc.

My College Experience

Faculty:

Every subject has one teacher assigned for that particular semester. So atleast 8 teachers per semester if we are counting the practicals and labs as well. Average age would be around 40 years and almost all are post graduates. A few are PhD as well. Hierarchy mainly has 3 levels. Associate professors, Assistant Professors and Head of Department. And of course the Principal. A few teachers are really good at what they teach but most of them don't know how to teach even if they have the technical knowledge. The subjects taught by the teachers in class is of very less use if you are not doing any self study. If you are asking doubt out of the textbook, probably you will have to tell the answer to the class the next day. Although some teachers make that extra effort. Some of the faculties do have industry experience which they do share and it does motivates you to enter the corporate world but obviously it differs from person to person.
