How can I get admitted to the college? What is the admission procedure?

The admission into Under Graduate and Post Graduate is done through the SKUAST-Jammu entrance test, ICAR entrance test and on the basis of the nomination of in-service candidates through state government. Admission into the B.Sc. course is done on the basis of 10+2 grade marks. For admission into the Ph.D. program, students should possess a Bachelors degree in the respective subject. The respective GPA (grade point average) is also taken into consideration while granting admission. For basic agricultural training courses, the only academic requirement is 10+2 with science while for certificate courses the student should have passed matric grade.

To enroll in this college, candidates must pass the ICAR entrance exam with at least 450 out of 720 marks. The college faculty is well-qualified, with many holding degrees from foreign institutions and possessing patents. The first semester fee for ICAR qualified students is 20,000 INR, which includes an 8,000 INR refundable deposit. Subsequent semester fees are 15,000 INR, covering both hostel and college expenses. Established in 1999, the college has a developing placement cell aiming to attract international companies.

Currently, job placements offer an average salary of 4 LPA. The college provides structured internships, including a six-month program at the end of the course and a three-month internship with a 21,000 INR stipend. Students can exit with a diploma after one year or continue for a four-year bachelor's degree. Financial aid is available through the ICAR scholarship exam, offering 3,000 INR monthly. I have reserved category sp in first semester i paid 36000 and in the rest semesters i have to pay 18000 only amd similarly one with self finance seats have to pay 60000 in first semester and 36000 in other semesters

Skuast kashmir - a beutyful campus of agriculture university

The tution is around 36000 INR yearly plus you have to pay 8000 INR and if you are looking for the accomidation will cost you around 10000 INR and about scholarship if you are getting addmision through ICAR UG Examination then you will getting 3000 INR per month.

Best ever Experience in college life.

There was no increase in tuition fee rather a decrease could be seen from 6 semester onwards. I spent almost 3.5 lacs involving all charges, transportation etc for my B. Tech degree. I got three scholarships in three years. And also I am eligible for the scholarship for toppers.

Best university of India in mountain agriculture and has a soothing environment to study.

Yeah, fees are a little bit higher than other ICAR agricultural universities approximately Rs. 25000 per semester without hostel and food charge. I am not a hosteller so not aware of hostel charges. All students in our course get Rs. 3000 ICAR scholarship per month that help us in financial adversities. Professors also give scholarships to poor but meritorious students.

You can easily get loan from jammu kashmin gramin bank but you don't even need this if you qualufied icar exam because it is also a scholarship exam you get 3000 per month which is sufficient for college fee and hostel fee
