Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

At this time agriculture is far more better than engineering.the future of agriculture is bright and you can easily get the job. There are 8 semesters in 4 year course and after each 3 month there is a paper of mid term and after 6 month there is a end term

Placement Experience

2

As this college is established in 1999 it's name and fame is not big but beside this they have their own placement cell they help you in placement. But as i am experienced i can say that there is less job opportunities.

Its 1st semester fee is 20000 for icar qualified student in which there is 8000 security money which will be refunded and after that you need to pay 15000 for both hostel and college fee it's not to expensive

You can easily get loan from jammu kashmin gramin bank but you don't even need this if you qualufied icar exam because it is also a scholarship exam you get 3000 per month which is sufficient for college fee and hostel fee

Campus Life

3

There are too many extracurricular activities like agrifest in which all types of competition are held like singing running dancing badminton chess etc labs are good have all instruments and there us a new sports complex too

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The infrastructure of hostel is brand new it is built in 2018 there is single rooms for each guy and every thing is good and hostel fee is only 6000 for a month it has generator facility too in case of power backup

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors here are helpful in nature they are supporting in nature they help in providing notes and help you in other activities too i cant comment on alumni network as I Don't know more about it But i can say that seniors here are good.

Admission

1st you need to give the entrance exam paper of icar and then you need to score atleast 450 out of 720 in the exam then you qualify the exam and after reasult you need to participate in counseling to get this college

Faculty

2.5

Faculty of colleges are well educated and they are from different regions of india and they are profee in their job They are easily available you can contact to them anytime anywhere during college time or may be after that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
