- Hostel infrastructure is not so good , the rooms are very congested.
- College location is very far from major cities which create hinderence in acquiring essential items.

Course Curriculum Overview
Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee for this course on government seat is Rs 55,600 (hostel fee included) but it become double if you will get selected on self finance seat. The tution fee is 6000 Registration fee 10000 Admission fee is 15000 Hostel fee is 18000 And remaining is other charges such as lab fee, tour fee etc For self finance and NRI quota seta the fee is double of above mentioned fee. Scholarships also available for top 10 students of batch by the college abd you can also get NSP scholarship.
Campus Life
There are various events are held such as Sports week, trekking, quiz competition regularly. Library facility is very good and you will find every book of agriculture related The classrooms are also well equipped with smart board, projector, wifi etc. The sports facilities are good with cricket and football ground and also indoor games are available.
Admission
I applied for science college jammu there i also got selected but iam more interested agriculture so i chose this course. For Jammu and Kashmir students there is UET UG exam and for other states students they will get admission through ICAR councelling after giving CUET exam. The cutoff remains highfir J&K as well as other students.
Faculty
The faculties of this college are well educated and very experienced and also they are very humble. All the faculties are good and caring so you will like all of them. There are 4 exams in a year which semester wise each at the interval of 3 months and the exams are not much difficult and one can easily clear with dedication and hard work.
Night Life
Gym, cafeteria, library and bank facilities are available inside the college. Hostel timings are different for girls and boys and almost the hostel intime is upto 8pm for girls and 10pm for boys. The locality of college is safe for roaming at night. The college are is very vast and you can enjoy at various place and out side college you can enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of kashmir.
