The course is just awesome so much fun while doing stuff related to course, practical work just awesome also studying peacefully literally helpful a lot, also the library of our faculty is just awesome provides each and every book

Class Size: 115Course Fees: INR 57800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

48000 fees semester + hostels self finance Open merit with hostel 37500 Works on every category i.e rba psa psp st sc all category also NRI students can also opt for admission. Batcmate fees of mine are 37500 of one,74000of another as NRI SEAT

Campus Life

There are lots of clubs in our faculty also I am an executive member of one of our clubs in faculty, they organise different events, to promote awareness and joyful events and sports week is mostly played for a week to enhanced strenght and mind of students

Hostel Facilities

In rooms there is mattinh for rooms already fitted, lockers ,wardrobes ,studying tables and good electricity,meal quality is good ,registration for hostel is done at the the time of new registration during registration for new semster .pg is provided in the area wadura

Admission

Our college is the best college ever best teaching staff and events happening, best dean maam,best hostels and also the best people around the university, cutoff of our college is usually around 70points who get in UGC exams

Faculty

Our faculty staff is just awsome, especially the ug academics section they are so helpful and joyful people, The exam schedule is on a regular basis like midterm and after the end term then practicals but the paper standard is tough enough.

Night Life

CANTEEN WORKS FOR 24/7 and also Gym facilty is just awsome every kind of machines are there aand also the gym works for 24/7.hostel timming varies for boys its upto 8 and for girls its upto 7pm ,our university is the safest placs ever for every student and helpfil also

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture is practical oriented course that's why i chose it and it takes me to my roots as my father is also farmer. Practical knowledge of this course prepares me for real world. Course curriculum must be practical along with book knowledge and teaching should be interactive. In 6 month semester we give two times exam and exams are easy.

This course is good but it has many subjects each semester we studies 10 subjects which are very difficult to gain knowledge so the subjects should be less and teachers always give ppt to students they make them and studied them on blackboard and exam duration they should provide a holiday

agriculture University with high potential for a great future

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course was the very best chance i had to get in a government college which ahd the best chance to get a decent job as this sector had good carrer opportunities curriculum was a little outdated as it gave a lot of insight on real word application theoretically but lacked practical application more practical and lab work could help curriculum and encouraging the faculty to teach with more interest the exams happen twice every semester also practical exam takes place as well the level of difficulty of exam was decent, didn't require much studying to pass and could easily score good grade if u are regular in class and study the night before exams

I didn't applied for any other college my first and last choice was this college and i got it. For admission in this college : If you are residing in J&K you have to give UET Ug exam which is conducted by SKUAST-K and after that you will get admission on merit base. If you are not residing in J&K then you can come through ICAR counselling after clearing CUET Ug exam. Cut off is high so prepare well....Read More

I only applied to this college due to its good NIRF ranking and also heard of the better environment here. I gave NEET exam but not able to crack that. To enter here you have to give SKUAST- K UET exam if you are from J&K and if you are from other states then you can take admission via ICAR councelling based on CUET exam. Most students came through SKUAST K UET and remaining through ICAR councelling. SKUAST K UET cut off vary from category to Category out of 135 UR- 80-90 ST - 60- 70 SC 50-60 OBC - 60-70 ALC - 65-75 Admission process is easy and smooth and also done offline at SKUAST K Shalimar campus...Read More
