What Students Say

Likes

The thing I liked is campus is very big and more space
Some of the faculty are very nice and give very affords to students
The canteen facilitates and bikes and car parking are also present

Dislikes

The practical knowledge is very less and less visit for practical
The timing of college I don’t like it is from 9:30 to 5:20
There is not very privacy for children and no dress code is required and no identity

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is good but it has many subjects each semester we studies 10 subjects which are very difficult to gain knowledge so the subjects should be less and teachers always give ppt to students they make them and studied them on blackboard and exam duration they should provide a holiday

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am doing bsc agriculture course at first I will pay 20,000 and then per Sem 10000 fees is given in the college and I am very about taking this course but students at my marks with category taking vetniary courses and the fees for sc and st category are same but students who are pursing self finance seat pay more 25000 and firstly at time of admission they give 75000 rupees scholarships are available for 1 ten ranker in class and for icar students

Campus Life

The Kisan mela is held for 5 days in November month this is very interesting feat and students fully enjoy there should be swing and other stalls are also present Around 200000 books are present In all classroom smart classroom are made Big scope for sport and sport complex is present So many clubs are made in college for the students they take benefits from this groups

Admission

I applied for mam college and I accepted this college because in this professional course is provided I want to do mbbs but my marks are less so I don't get admission admission procedures you have to give skaust Jammu entrance exam and then counselling is held and it's of 180 marks paper and at 80 marks you get bsc Agriculture course the admission procedure is good the staff is very helpful

Faculty

Faculty and students relationship is very important and in this college teacher are very understanding and they share a strong bond with students The faculty I like most is aeng faculty because they come on time in class and interact with students always The faculty I don't like is path they just do timepass in class Mid Sem and end Sem are present and exam are moderate 20 % students are failed in exams

Night Life

Gym in sport complex are present and it's timing is from 9:30 to 6:00 pm and library is open 9:30 to 5:00 for students and faculty members and public people may walk from 5 :00 to 9:00 Urja and ujala girls hostel timing 6:30 pm Sankalp hostel boys timing 10 pm Miranshaib and Satwati

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture is practical oriented course that's why i chose it and it takes me to my roots as my father is also farmer. Practical knowledge of this course prepares me for real world. Course curriculum must be practical along with book knowledge and teaching should be interactive. In 6 month semester we give two times exam and exams are easy.

Golden days of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is actually preparing us how to become profitable in all the situations like during adverse weather conditions ,insect pest and diseases infestation,how to cope up with all the situations that can leads to decrease our yield.i personally choose this course to know the things that are happening in our daily life like knowing the reason of increase or decrease of income in agricultural fields ,use of pesticides, insecticides ,their quantity and specificity so that become less toxic to consume. The exams are quite easy but due to presence of alot of subjects no holiday is available during exams except Saturday and sunday

agriculture University with high potential for a great future

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course was the very best chance i had to get in a government college which ahd the best chance to get a decent job as this sector had good carrer opportunities curriculum was a little outdated as it gave a lot of insight on real word application theoretically but lacked practical application more practical and lab work could help curriculum and encouraging the faculty to teach with more interest the exams happen twice every semester also practical exam takes place as well the level of difficulty of exam was decent, didn't require much studying to pass and could easily score good grade if u are regular in class and study the night before exams

I applied to skuast - jammu. i cleared their entrance test and there i got rank 79 n i was getting subject of my chice so i selected this college I didnt got rejected from other college, i have cleared 3 entrance exam i,e skuast-jammu, SHAUTS- Allahabad, NAUNI - Uttrakhand but i was getting subject of my chice in jammu only, so i joined jammu One has to apply in university website, to fill the form when admission starts, after form filling which include all the edicational details,address, permanent address etc, after that u will receive admit card of exam date, one has to visit university to give exam after that when result comes one has to visit university for the counselling anf all furthder procedures...Read More
