About Government Degree College
Government Degree College was established in 2005. The college started with only four subjects English, Applied Mathematics, Computer Application and Education in Arts Stream. But now Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology subjects has also started. The subjects like History, Sociology, Mathematics, Modern Indian Languages (Hindi, Punjabi, Dogri, and Sanskrit), Economics and Political Science are introduced in the arts stream.
The college has well equipped laboratories for Computer, Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. Internet facility is also available. A well-established unit of extracurricular activities such as NSS unit, Red Cross Unit, Career Counseling Cell, Red Ribbon club and Women Study Centre is functioning actively to enable students to be fully prepared to face the future challenges. The college library has a rich collection of books.

Actually, this faculty is a government university so you don't ought to pay a bargain except for admission prices which may moreover get waves off if you belong to a BPL circle of relatives. Moreover, many other monetary aids are given to the scholars of households.

It is the closest to our vicinity. Moreover, I don't have so many financial capabilities to get admission in any other college. I had no other option. So had to choose it. The things I like about this college is undefined.

College has less number of college transport vechiles. Toilets and other infrastructure is not upto standard. Cafeteria area is small. Sports ground is not so maintained. Classrooms are not smart. More staff is needed.

I didn't like to share this because our locality is small. development process is very slow here,we thank for what we have, I am sure that with the passage of time everything goes good,we get more facilities.

The college is almost very good for best education social networking here is also good.Sports are fair with lots of indoor and outdoor games. Large classrooms.Labs are well developed. Libraries are full of all linds of books.

I think only bad remark about our college is that no hijab is there and the good remarks is that it meets all the requiremets of students.
