College of Agriculture, Palampur initially established as Junior college of Agriculture was founded to impart higher education to students of farfetched hilly areas of then Punjab in the field of agriculture. With the coming into existence of the Himachal Pradesh University in 1970, the College of Agriculture, Palampur became a part of the same and the college was also awarded the status of a post graduate institute in the year 1971. Today, the college of Agriculture, Palampur strives to imbibe and improve the skill sets of students in topics like hill agriculture, including supplementary, complimentary and competitive enterprises in the agricultural scenario.

At College of Agriculture Palampur, veterinary programs are not offered directly; veterinary education is provided through separate veterinary universities. Admission to veterinary courses like B.V.Sc requires NEET qualification. Without NEET, you cannot pursue veterinary science there or in government veterinary colleges.
Candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Admission is based on performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). Candidates must appear for NEET-UG and secure a valid score. The students should fill out the online application form available on the CSKHPKV official website.
Unfortunately, CA Palampur doesn’t offer BA course to the students.
