Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum at SVIT for CSE (Cyber Security) as well-structured and moderately industry-relevant, with a balanced mix of core computer science and cybersecurity subjects. To make it excellent, it should include more project-based learning, internships, and hands-on labs with real-world tools used by cybersecurity professionals. Over all rating : 7.5 / 10
Internships Opportunities
There not many available opportunities in svit students found self internship opportunities out of the college and also college college provide less internship opportunities it is better to found internship out of the college
Placement Experience
SVIT provides good placement opportunities for general IT roles, but students aiming for niche fields like Cyber Security need to take initiative, upskill themselves, and explore off-campus options. The college is improving slowly, and I believe future batches will benefit more if industry tie-ups are strengthened.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid ?85,000 annually as tuition fee. My total course fee is ?3,88,000 approximately. I have also applied for [mention scholarship if you did], and the college informed us in advance that there is no major change in fee during our batch.
Campus Life
My experience with campus life at SVIT was positive, disciplined, and balanced. While the college isn’t very high on extracurricular exposure like some Tier-1 institutions, it offers a peaceful and supportive environment to focus on academics. With more student-driven events and active clubs, the experience could be even better.
Admission
I chose SVIT because it offered CSE (Cyber Security) within my rank, at an affordable cost, with good faculty and a manageable location. While some colleges had better brand value or placements, SVIT met my personal priorities best and gave me a comfortable environment to grow. This is why I choose svit
Faculty
The faculty at SVIT were overall supportive especially guiding students through projects and certification . The course structure was balanced between core and specialization topics in cyber security .The exam and marking system was fair and followed the standard JNTU pattern. While theory was given importance, there’s still room to add more practical training and industry-based projects.
Night Life
The nightlife near SVIT is limited but safe. While you won’t find late-night college events or clubs nearby, there are decent options for food, cafes, and weekend hangouts in nearby city areas. Students looking for an active nightlife usually explore other parts of Hyderabad.
