I applied around 5 colleges, MJCET, LCET, NSACET and SCET. I choose Deccan college of engineering because it was very near, fees was too low. I didn't got any rejections, The eligibility exam is EAMCET through which we get 100% scholarship from government. The cutoff is 40 marks from 160

There is a seat based system after EAMCET where we get picked from universities which we applied but in a serial order. For example my 1st priority college rejected me and this college which was at 2nd picked me. Now my application doesn't reach to the 3rd, 4th priority colleges because I already got picked. I selected this college because it was close to my house.

The main reason i chose this college was the commute time which was very less compared to the other colleges and the college was pretty lenient in terms of skipping classes whereas the other university was also the same but it was nearly half an hour further away from my residence therefor i chose this college...and the other college was more expensive than this college

The admission process was really very lengthy it took me around 2 months to just get the admission where at first i had take an eamcet exam and get qualified in it at my time around 3lakh student's appeard for the exam and i got qualified with 50k rank which was a decent rank though i was expecting even less now deccans cut off was around 50k-55k i knew i would get it if i applied it in counseling and so i did it was definitely a long process going to diff college to get the certificates verified then waiting for online counseling and then applying as per my priority list and again waiting for results definitely a really lengthy process

I got the admission in Deccan engineering by an entrance exam called TSECET. And i got a rank of 693 this college selected students in between 300 to 900 ranks. The eligibility to get admission is either inter or diploma in Civil Engineering. Just in case of diploma the student directly promots to second year. There are reservation benefits like free Library, exemption from college fee , no sports fee etcc.. Exams where conducted very comfortably and genuinely and there are no suggestions regarding admission process the one they run is really good.

first, we need to give the eamcet exam in which we need to get a rank as good as to enter the field and in my case, in ece, the rank was 40000 to 80000 so I got a seat in ece in Deccan College of Engineering and Technology.

NEET UG was required to get admission into the university. At the time of admission which was in 2017, the cut-off marks in NEET were in the 420s range. Since the years have passed, the cut-off will be dramatically increased. Deccan, being a private college, offers B-category and C-category admissions, which require lesser cut-off marks and have higher fees for admission. The candidates after receiving the NEET marks can apply for medical colleges through counseling, allocated by the government in selected centers. There, the decision is yours, to choose whatever college suits you and your marks best. If you can get shortlisted into Deccan, you need to be present on the day of Deccan admission and present yourself so you can get a guaranteed place.
