Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology, also known as KIET, was established in 2001. It is a private institution located in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.

This institute offers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) as well as Diploma courses in the Engineering field. The courses and programs have been approved by AICTE. All the above-mentioned courses are Full time and On-Campus.

The interested candidates must be 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission for the UG Courses.

Admissions to the courses are provided based on respective entrance examinations.

KIET Godavari Admissions

For B.Tech Admissions, A valid score in AP EAMCET is accepted. However, candidates can also get direct admissions.

Admissions to the PG courses i.e. M.Tech and MCA are based on PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government.

Admission to diploma courses are merit based.

How to Apply?

The KIET Admission procedure is in Offline Mode.

The interested candidates are required to call the phone numbers mentioned on the official and authorized website.
The Admission to various KIET programs is through counseling based on the rank and score obtained in Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).
The candidate will have to submit the required documents for document verification.
Once the candidate’s course choice and admission fees are made, the admission to the institute is finalized.

The KIET Placement cell was established in 2003. KIET Placement Cell uses 360 degrees Learning Approach which imbibes technical and professional skills like aptitude, attitude, and communication skills in the students. Such an approach is important for industries. The training process at the placement cell is initiated from the first year.

As part of the 360-degree learning, the KIET Placement cell asks students to participate in workshops in IITs. The alumni play a major role in the placement process. The Placement Cell ensures near 100% placements.

Pleasant college

Likes

I like the infrastructure of my college . Good classrooms with pleasant surroundings
Hard work of the faculty . They wanted to provide something to students for their success
My campus life is very good with my friends and friendly nature of faculties

Dislikes

I did not like this less faculty and the hod did not provide faculty for each subject
My College placements is very low and they did not provide at least 20% placements
My college canteen is not good for food and the cost is to her

Students view on course curriculum and faculties

I took the computer science and engineering CSE course because of my intrest in software..the faculty is low in my college only hod sir took the classes and remaining faculty is not provided by my college. And coming to qualification of faculty is they are not up to the mark and taught very less so my review is bad for them. My term exams are conducted by hod and the exams are little bit difficult to pass

Companies recruiting from the campus, and average package being offered

From 3rd year 2nd semester honours students become eligible for campus placements. There are about 10 companies visited for campus placements in our college like mphasis, miracle, Accenture, etc.. is company will provide offer to 4 to 5 members . Aur highest packages for lakh per annum and average package of college visited companies are two point five lakh per annum. YouTube recession the percentage of getting jobs is decreased to 10% . I have two plans after getting degree first one is go to post graduation and second one is doing job and save amount to study masters.

Course affordability and placement of college

My course is super for understanding the programming concepts. I learn from YouTube channels for better understanding. The cost of my course is less and my college didn't provide internships but I selected in campus interview with miracle software systems company with 246000 lpa. But till now the company didn't call me for onboarding . I am waiting for it..

What are various facilities available in the campus?

My college did not conduct annual fests but the conduct final year send of party for us. We have library in our college it consists of saral books to read. My classroom infrastructure is excellent and we have sports like cricket ,basketball,NCC and NSS .. aur college students runs blood bank and everytime seniors provide motivational lectures like my brother's and sisters for how to complete the course.

Admission Process of the college

My admission process is good. They sent me to principal room and explain the process of fee structure and placements then I was submitted my SSC and intermediate certificates. They didn't collect any entrance fee. They told to pay only University fee every year and no need to pay college fee because of 100 percentage fee reimbursement..

I liked the college infrastructure and its greenary. It is near to Korangi forest.
The importance to sports and other extra curricular activities.
Library the availability of books and the furniture is very good.

Dislikes

Strict rules and dress code. It is even prohibited to even wear t shirt and jeans

There is so many places to chill out in our college. Our college is full of trees around .Mainly Buddha statue is our favouite spot to sit and talk.
In our college , there are so many clubs like GCC, K-HUB which makes student to learn coding skills .we improved our coding skills by joining in it , It makes us to learn and enjoy in doing projects.

Dislikes

In our college, Wifi signals are very bad which makes us very trouble while coding and doing projects . network issues are very high.

I choosen this college because I got scholarship and I am interested in Cse with specialization .There is no other college having specializations at the time of joining. So that I joined in this college.I joined through the ECET counselling , The admission process is held as submitted the rank card and other personal information. 1.I applied for so many colleges through counselling but in that I don't have courses i want. 2.I applied for aditya as well but I didnot get seat in counselling because of their cutoff . 3. the admission process will be like the counselling . our college is eligible for the rank of 100000 so that less than 100000 rank students are eligible.

In our college , we have special block only for coding where all students engage and spend their quality time and improving their coding skills.

Dislikes

Firstly I choose this college for the course availability and the fee structure for the course .At the time of joining , we don't have the course in any other college in our AP. The application process is very simple and we have to give Eamcet results by pdfs and some other details such as Name , Intermediate TC . if we get good rank ,they will accept . 1. I have got admission in Vignan college in Vizag, but in that college AIDS college is not available .So that I have choosen kakinada Institute of engineering and technology with AIDS course and with good fee structure. 2.yes , I have rejections from fee colleges .every college have their own cut off regarding rank . 3.In our college ,upto 90000 rank students who are eligible . They don't have to pay fee also .
