International Maritime Academy, situated in Chennai, is one of the most important seagoing cadets training institutions in the nation. It is India's most Premier Academy for Maritime Education. The Institute has constructed its own Ship-In-Campus training facility in the academy campus itself. It also holds an advanced maritime workshop, training instruments, and other equipment to provide excellent training to the entire budding workforce. The Institute is approved by Directorate General of Shipping and accreditated to International Accreditation Organization.
