Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

Likes

This college helps my to improve my self esteem. My fluency, social behaviour, academic and many more which will lead to my personal growth.
Infrastructure of this college is well and fine, class rooms are good enough spacious and comfortable, environment is suitable and well diverse.
This college frequently take us to educational trips, confrence meets and other needed meets. There are fingers of girls and ocean of boys.

Dislikes

The teaching method of the faculties are not appropriate,some teachers are really good while others come, stand, narrator some lectures and then move on.
Even after giving ample of intimation, this thing has not changed, and while correction, teachers never look into the answer sheets and correct the papers blindly.
Income based discrimination is done here.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement offered by our college. The students are eligible for internship form the 3rd semester. Only 2 students from the batch gets the opportunity to avail placement. My plan is to work as logistics manager or freight forwarder in a reputed company.

About the education hub

Likes

There is a good infrastructure and faculty also the way the faculty teaches are too good

Dislikes

Nothing here is disliked but the food is not good

Internships Opportunities:

Maersk and many other companies come for the interview The college will send you for the project work every semester and it will be paid The internship will be done by yourself but the faculties will help you to get the internship

It is a good choice if you have an idea of what you are doi6here.

Likes

I really liked the way faculty support us for our best.
The infrastructure of library, class and lab are good.
The students of the university are very supportive to each other

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel infrastructure of the campus.
The mess food is average and not that very good.
The curriculum of the courses are a bit hard to study.

Internships Opportunities:

There is a internship opportunity provided by the college in the second year in Flipkart in which you'll get paid for the work. The students are also requested to go for internships during year breaks and have to submit reports to the department.

My college experience at amet university

Likes

Good environment and peacefull for students
No ragging among seniors and juniors very friendly
Good infrastructure and machines ,libraries

Dislikes

Maintenance of attendance for the students
Penalty fees is high and which also good for student so that they do any unwanted things
Sports and event are generally conducted int the time frame of 3 to 5 weeks it has to changed to 1 to 3 weeks

Likes

The college is collaborated with renowned industry partners such as Kalvium, Face Prep, and others to provide placement
The college is undergoing a significant infrastructure development project, aimed at enhancing its facilities

Dislikes

They collect fee for Skill based value added training fro every term since now there is special periods for that. We don't know why we are paying the amount

Internships Opportunities:

As a kalvium students of first year. We will haven't got our internships yet. But the internships will starts from second year onward. The they tied is :amazon, flipkart, Microsoft, google and so on.

i liked the hostel food its good daily they provide good food with separate veg & non veg
i liked the environment there mostly chief engineers are good
I liked the library room its a peaceful place to learn new things

Dislikes

I disliked the way of punishing others without proper reason
I disliked the rules coz there are separate rules for seniors & juniors
I disliked the management coz they didnt allow me to write the exam because i didnt paid the fees

Placement Experience:

in my college placements are good when compared to other colleges.. In my college mostly students will get a placement in 1st year coz our college had a collaboration with marseak company....Other than that for the next three years only 10 of the students will get a placement while marseak will recruit 50 students from 1st year

A detailed review about AMET university

Likes

The staff are quite better compared to other colleges
Their infrastructure are good but not maintained properly
Hospitality is good but mess food is bad

Dislikes

Labs are not very much good not properly maintained
Their fees structure are very high compared to other colleges this course is very less fees
Senior junior relationship is quiet bad in this university

Internships Opportunities:

In our college gives international international to Germany malaysia turkey newzealand and etc and also give an internship in shipping sector like nes there are large opportunities in our university campus

The life stimulation

Likes

Good atmosphere out there with pretty decent campus
If you can maintain CGPA, placement is for sure
Extra course are also offers like open BBA which is very handy and useful

Dislikes

To get permissions for leave and gate pass is big challenge
No much events to explore and enjoy university life
Not that great infrastructure to look after and even the mess food could be even better

Internships Opportunities:

Even though I didn't did any intership as of now, but our university is having an separate department to provide interships for the students. If your really passionate and will to do the college will also provide you with an intership abroad.

A Perfect College Life For A Cadet To Become An Officer.

Likes

The food they provide in the college mess is extremely outstanding. The hostels are also good. The college is placed in a green environment. The girls to boys ratio is less due to less awareness about this field among the society.
All the faculties are expert and has done PhD or are Captains and Chief Engineers those who has quit sailing. They provide a great knowledge and are always available to clear your doubts.
The placement is almost 100% as they provide sponsorships in AMET IST MAERSK Centre of Excellence.

Dislikes

The college AMET IST which is a Branch of AMET for MAERSK selected cadets is new so its under construction. So the infrastructure is not that good.
Less Sports facilities are available, also the sports that are available in the campus are not with good infracstructure.

The college provides free internships on various ports of the country. The internships are provided in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the college. But as we go on board on ship for training of 6 months with our placed company MAERSK. At college we are told to do various projects like, making a remote control boat and competing with various other teams, making a go-cart, any many more. We learn a lot from these projects. We do mistakes and learn from it, thus we try to improve it.
