I was as data entry operator in NSRY at Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There my colleague suggested me to do PG course so that I can continue my job more accurately. Teaching methods should be improved as many time it has happened that teachers use to come, explain their personal experiences and then walk off, for knowledge their experience is acceptable but for theory we can't write down their experience. Hence kindly appoint someone who can teach the curriculum and not share their own experiences.

There is no placement offered by our college. The students are eligible for internship form the 3rd semester. Only 2 students from the batch gets the opportunity to avail placement. My plan is to work as logistics manager or freight forwarder in a reputed company.

Hello, my course is for 2yrs, and the fees comes around 8 lakh for both the year, including my hostel. Educational fees for 1st yr - 300000/- Educational fees for 2nd yr - 300000/- Hostel/ food fees per year - 100000/- (2× 100000 = 200000 ) *Note : It's was informed to us that hostel fees will be increasing from 100000/yr to 125000/yr for the upcoming year. Scholarship is availed to the some excluded groups which includes people working under defence category and lowers.

Campus life at AMET university has been an unique and enriching experience, especially from a social perspective. Being a maritime focused institution, the environment is quite disciplined and well structured but that doesn't mean it lacks vibrancy.

The hostel was very well furnished with unlimited internet connection, but lately the water scarcity, like drinking water and water for other use. The rooms is getting shared between 6 members, i.e 6 members per room. Different hostel for boys and girls. Frequent power cut problem during these summer is not acceptable.

First off all, i didn't apply to any other colleges, then for addmission, they took very long to intimate the dates, again and again I was calling one of the faculty and was asking for dates. Management is responsible for providing information.to the students. While admission, first they asked to pay an advance amount of rs. 25000/- from the course fees i.e rs. 300000/- to confirm my seat. Then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs. 40000/- which was not available then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs 50000/- to confirm the hostel. Later they called for college and certificates verification happened. Later I paid rs. 75000/- as my 1st semester college fees. Then my classes went on well.

Exam system is : CAT 1, CAT 2, MODEL EXAMINATION, END SEMESTER EXAMINATION. CAT1 &CAT2 is for 50marks each and MODEL & END SEMESTER EXAMINATION is for 100 marks each. Subject teacher of the concerned subject will not correct the papers, instead of that other faculty will correct the paper, and then the marking differs for each person to each person. This is one of the reasons why I scored less marks. Shameem Ma'am ( Financial accounting and Research methodology) and MEENAKSHI Ma'am ( Logistic management) they are the one and only finest faculty with friendly behaviour and personal understanding. Personally or professionally they are best in both. Their teaching is just top notch.

Night life being a college student is very boring, strict rules never allow us to move out even on any occasions. Very fever places to visit and need to travel long if want a best spot. Timing for hostel is before 8:30pm, and that is the time when night starts.
