Our clg used to have a friendly facilities.. though it is a maritime training academy some faculties will give more importance in our discipline

Dislikes

There is no any kind of dislikes in my clg period ...we used to enjoy our day
The only thing is we have to stay in hostel because this is a semi regiment course

Course Curriculum Overview

We have technical as well as theory classes too to gain more knowledge It will be helpful to easily understand We have our internals 2 months once Model and sem will be help in one strech continuously

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 345000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement will be offered at first' year itself Student's will high pcm and basic of 12std will be helpful to get placed in that placement itself Other than tat every 1 yr we will be having campus placement where higher cgpa students will get first priority and they will be able to attend the interview

Fees and Financial Aid

per annum it will cost 3.45 lakhs for BE marine They have many kind of scholarship which we can easily contact the front office and apply it For example fisherman scholarship Single parent scholarship are available

Campus Life

Though it is a maritime training academy we have to involve in any one kind of activities like sports band etc This will boost up our energy in day to day life Daily we will be having morning pt and parade For that we will be trained to wake early Grooming ourselves is very important proper shave and haircut is mandatory

Admission

Though it is a deemed university..our clg timings will and holidays will be decided by clg authorities We will be having more holidays before any festival because there are many people coming from other states to pursue in this university

Faculty

We have two internals one model and final sem By calculating our internals and model our internal mark is calculated We will be writing internals for 50 marks And semester and model for 100 marks Totally 5 units Each lesson carries 20 marks weightage All the units are given equal importance

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. Cutoffs vary yearly but are reasonable. Overall, the admission process was smooth and transparent, making it a good experience for me....Read More

Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

First off all, i didn't apply to any other colleges, then for addmission, they took very long to intimate the dates, again and again I was calling one of the faculty and was asking for dates. Management is responsible for providing information.to the students. While admission, first they asked to pay an advance amount of rs. 25000/- from the course fees i.e rs. 300000/- to confirm my seat. Then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs. 40000/- which was not available then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs 50000/- to confirm the hostel.
