Infrastructure of AMET University is good.
Faculties are so kind and always available for doubts sessions.

Dislikes

Food is not good in my university, I m from North India so, I m having difficulty to cope up with that food.
Regular swimming classes are not there .

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a Merchant Navy officer that' why I came to this university, I'm pursuing BE Marine Engineering which is come under DG courses. In the final exams they will give you 3 hours max. This university is improving a lot for the upcoming years.

In my university they are providing the pre placement, in which you get placement in your first year itself, here get company is not a big issue , placement records of AMET University are too good as compared to other universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing BE Marine Engineering in AMET University, here fees of one year is 320000. In my university there are different types of courses like BSC , MBA, BBA etc. there are also providing scholarship,but scholarships are having criteria in which only some amount of students come up with those criterias.

Campus Life

My campus life is going good as I am having a lot of extra caricular activities which helps me to enhance in many activities, there are al lot of clubs which helps us to involve in social activities. Here students are life is good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not so good over here , the rooms are too small, and they are expecting four students to manage in that room. they are providing bunk fan to those students who are in the lower bed and the upper bed has the ceiling fan.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

I choose AMET University because I want to be a Merchant Navy Officer, here placement records are good. Here they provide us best infrastructure as compared to other universities. The exams are quite difficult over here, cut off for the final exams is 55/100 .

Faculty

There are so many faculties of each subject, if you don't understand of that faculty so you can go to another one. There are a lot of experienced faculties which are so good in teaching. There are a lot of exams in this university.

Placement Experience:

3 yr students are eligible to get placed.particularly japanese placements come around that time.and general placements comes in 3rd yr 6th semester! Jsw, Renault Nissan are some of the companies that come! Highest in Japan 32 lpa , general - 12 lpa. 99.99% get placed.

My experience in VIT

Placement Experience:

My college allows you to get internships from the 5th semester. Campus placements can be availed 7th semester onwards. The highest package offered was I think about 1cr per year and the average being about 8-9LPA for my course. My plans after my degree is to work.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
