IFET College of Engineering, Villupuram, popularly known as IFET, is a private, autonomous college established in 1998. It is located in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. IFET Admission 2025
IFET admissions are based on marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination. Candidates seeking admission in BTech/BE must have passed the TNEA exam. The application for TNEA should be filled out online through the website of Anna University. However, students can get admission through the management quota, based on their marks in the intermediate graduation. The ME/MBA admissions are based on the rank obtained in TANCET/GATE. Students are required to pay an application fee of INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved category students) using a Credit or Debit Card.

IFET Scholarships 2025

Advance Classrooms and Lecture Halls: Classrooms and Lecture Halls are well furnished and equipped with LCD projectors, OHP projectors, screens, and green boards.
Laboratories: Laboratories equipped with the necessary equipment to conduct research. The specialised lab assistants monitor the safety measures.
Seminar Halls: The College offers fully Air-Conditioned and spacious seminar halls with 500 seating capacity and state-of-the-art facilities.
Central Library: The library provides access to 40,000 & more books written by national as well as international authors. The digital library was introduced for accessing the previous year's University question papers, students' project reports, and staff research publications in electronic form.
Transportation: Apart from local transport facilities, students can access the bus facility offered by the College administration. There are 30 buses hired to pick up students from various locations.
Cafeteria: A well-furnished and spacious canteen is functioning on the campus for students and staff. The college canteen provides hygienic snacks, tea, and lunch items.
IFET Hostel
IFET provides hostel facilities for the students. There are separate hostel buildings for boys and girls within the campus. All the hostel buildings have 24/7 WiFi internet connectivity, a recreation hall, a gym, and a game room. The girls' hostel has special 24/7 security. Additionally, a laundry facility is also available for all the students at nominal charges. As per our research, the annual hostel fee is INR 55,000.
