The average college student experiences

Likes

College had very good infrastructure and the diversity of students was great. The staff cared less if we worked hard or not . They gave us all things to grow big and we just have to use it . On one else will push to become better , you should do it
The collage functions , edm nights , gaming sessions and all the dsw part was so good we had to cool and they gave us a good vibe at the end and the university has everything we need inside the campus only which is a big one and we all loved it
The collage admission department and helpline works perfect.

Dislikes

Crowded , a lot of students are studying in lpu
The parking is very less and you have to look after your own vehicle
Uni hospital is not too advanced and the doctor are not goood

The curriculum was designed the way we could understand what we need and select what we need . The curriculum prepared all of us to do real world problems and get a experience in all . The teachers should work more on improving the importance of topics and teach that more . The exams and practical tests should be more than class so that we get the work done

Lovely professional university host different event throughout the year, making campus vibrant and beautiful, lpu always organise
Lpu always orgganise lpu fest , one of the biggest fest it was , with alot of activities, like drama, dance , talent shows
Also lpu organise various workshops and competitions , workshop in music, art and etc.

Dislikes

Large campus size, sometimes its very diffcuilt to go frrom one place to another nad sometimes student get late for the classes.
High fees, college is good but the fees of the course is bit hiegh according to me , its difficult for a middle class to afford.
Admission process, sometimes people find that the addmision process slow.

Lovely professional university gave 100% placement to the eleiglible student according to thir records, there are alot of companies vist campus every year , and companies hire in bulk also , lpu is very good in placemnets ,

LPU is best .

Likes

Each and every Facility provided is very nice
New technologies are used in very effective manner

Dislikes

Fee is very much high everyone can't afford .
Number of students is very large some teacher don't give attention to everyone

We have a very well placement .. average package is 4.5 lakh . We have separate placement classes where professors teaches students how to perform in real placement we have mock interviews , group discussions in our placement classes

Lovely professional University review

College has good infrastructure..good exposure and great atmosphere

Mentoring is awesome here..and rules and regulations for maintaining discipline

Dislikes

First thing it's hostel fees is too expensive as compared to facilities they provide..not worth
Crowd...here is huge crowd people from allover India
Nothing is free...they charge for every single small things

Placements are good in my college. they provide us both the opportunity of sitting in placement or going for higher studies. college does every possible things rest all depends on us what we are doing.

A best university for students to take admission.

Likes

The campus is very clean and near to the main city.
The staff are very helpfull and they guide us on every point
There is great sports club which offers many games for students

Dislikes

There is a very bad thing such as ragging
Seniors are very vulgar with their juniors
Library should contain much more books for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty have to enhance their teaching methods also. They have to concentrate on the practical experience for students not on boaring theories. After a interval of six months the exams are taken by University.

The thing I like most in my college is infrastructure, environment and many more things.
Faculty of our college is very supportive and helpful. You can go to their cabin for any type of doubt that is anything like personal or professional they will surely help you in every situation.
The placements are quite good and the companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, etc come to our college.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike in college that is continuous assessment. We have 3 ca in one semester. After our semester starts after 9-10 days our ca will be started then mid term then ca then end term. Much pressure are there.
The people of our college is actually good but sometimes it's like u feel alone around bunch of people.
In our college the umc system is very bad. This college have their own rules and they just pressurise student.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester the students are eligible for placement session. There were many companies visited in our college like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, etc The average package or our college is 7 lpa.

Most honest review on LPU

Likes

The enviornment of the college is great. You get the opportunity to meet different types of people from the different origins
The second thing that I like most about studying in LPU is that the reappear system of the college is great It gives you five times to clear a subject that you failed in any semester, so that you can improve your cgpa
The infrastructure of the college is great. It offers various services for the students studying in the college. So you can take a lot of benefits from that. And they support sports a lot.

Dislikes

The continuous assessment that they conduct in a semester and the marking system of the final results is what I don't like in the LPU college
The guards are not very helpful and cooperative. They usually harass students on the pretext of UMC that the college apply if someone break any type of rules

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements several companies are visiting LPU for campus placements like Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, OYO, D-mart, Flipkart, etc. The highest package was cracked by a B.Tech CSE student which was around 50 lakhs per annum And the average placement salary package ranges between 4 lakhs to 65 lakhs. Around 30 to 40 percent of students get placed in LPU on average. I will go for higher studies after the degree

Likes

Campus infrastructure is too much good and large
Environment of college is far better than other colleges
Teachers are very good they studies us in such a good manner

Dislikes

Frequently exams were coming which is irritating
Its takes too much time to reach on my block by entering the gate
Too much competition here for btech here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Couse is totally relevance with industrial trends. You can learn the totally relevance things to current trends. Teaching method is superb here from my experience. The syllabus covers so much fast so youve to be more aatentive in class for making your exams easier.

Well infrastructure and natural environment
Teachers are so good and understandable.
No ragging or any type of misbehaviour in college.

Dislikes

Too much competition in all courses specially in B.Tech
Too much noisy surrounding because of many students
Campus is so large so for going to your block it's take very much time.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.

LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
