My internship review

Likes

Sex ratio is less in our department but ober university is ratio is good.
Placement cell is pretty good they are updated with latest company requirements.
Some of the clubs ate really working well like gdsc in our college.

Dislikes

My college ask for a lot of money for each and every event even though they already took a lot during admission.
Some of the teacher are good but most of them are juat ok and some are so poor that students know more then them.
Infrastructure are good but only for show off. If we need to use it we need to pay for that.

ENHANCING COLLEGE LIFE

Likes

I liked how the teachers interact with the students. A nice way to deal with students and also ecery month there is a mentor meeting in which students can put up their issues regarding studies,hostels food or any and it will be resolved.
I liked the rules and regulations of the college
By coming to this college i have developed confidence and my professional development is also good

Dislikes

We have to travel long distance to reach our building
After completion of our mid term exams there is no break given this is demerit as 1 or 2 days break so that student can refill their energies
Rest everything is upto the mark. We all are enjoying our journey

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good till now Maximum students get placed by this college There is special classes on Saturdays for placement drive The students are taught and interviews are taken They get a good amount og payment as well Not all students are placed but many are in well know companies

Overview about LPU

Likes

Atmosphere which i get in LPU is too much for learning prospective and also for fun.
Opportunity was very vast if student wants to explore that right place.
Behaviour of teacher and students which working and studying there is fantastic

Dislikes

My course was of 2 year so I want to be spend more time which not possible.
Infrastructure was too big, which will suck your all energy

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum was very busy which is indirectly helpfull for the student and also help the student to bear the load in future, They need to change the timming of the morning class as I am the student of Physical Education 4 time you to give the exam in semester 3 CA and 1 semester exam, 3 CA's were of 1 hour and final semester exam is of 3 hour and the difficulty level is medium

Likes

I like the faculty behaviour with students
The study structure is organised and easy
Provide different labs to do practice and libraries

Dislikes

I did not like the 75 percent attendance mandatory
Sometimes classes are on 5 to 9 floor we have to cross many stairs
I did not like the students intake here as so many students are here

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college were average as compared to the other colleges as they were not bad and not tooo much higher but average and the placement percentage of students of this college is around 70 to 80 percent

Story of LPU

Likes

The environment and teaching environment
The diversity they are providing is much better then any other campus
Placement structure its 100% placement record

Dislikes

The location in winter is really bad it too cold
The near by surrounding areas but they are improving that
Local people of the area if you are girl i will suggest to stay in hostels

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester they are eligible for the placement and we got many companies through our placement department even we can go for the dream placement program and choose the dream company the record is 100% placement but few opt for business also and lpu support them in that also

I really like The Diversity of Lovely Professional university
I also like the social life of my university
The infrastructure of our universe is also very eye pleasing

Dislikes

I think that the price of commodities are little overpriced
I also don't like the false advertisement of our university
I also didn't like the medical facilities of our university

A real review of lpu law school

Likes

The infrastructure they have for law students is so good
All faculty is phd holders mainly and all have good experiences
There are many societies in law school like ADR society, Moot Court society, etc

Dislikes

Hectic schedule of the classes like there are classes from 9-5
You have to do efforts from your sude to get a good internship
The strictness to submit the assignments

Placement Experience:

Lpu has a good record of placement but they can't compete nlu's placements. Fifth year student is eligible for placements here. L&L partner & Azb Partners visited this campus for placements. The highest package is 10 lakh and average is 4 lakh. My plans after degree is to join a law firm

The campus is so big that i feel like i am in some city or some thing like that. Its really good. The environment and the trees and flowers is cheery on the cake
The various opportunity we get like multiple conference and spirts activity and getting to meet bigger personalities of our field is also great
The teachers actually work here , atleast in our class coz there are less students , they can focus on each and every students

Dislikes

The security guards are a lot , i mean even if we do small thing , they will caught us amd if we caught three times , we got umc and our scholarship get cancelled
Teachera are phd holders but not every teacher are good at teaching

Placement Experience:

Placements at LPU are quite good, especially for nutrition and dietetics students. We become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Some of the companies that visit include VLCC, Apollo Hospitals, Nestlé, and Fortis Healthcare, offering roles in clinical nutrition, diet counseling, and food service management. The highest package for my course has gone up to around 6-7 LPA, while the average package is about 3-4 LPA, depending on the profile and the company. Most students who actively participate in placements secure jobs, with about 70-80% placement success. After getting my degree, I plan to either work as a dietitian or continue with higher studies to specialize in a specific field like sports nutrition or public health. I'm also considering starting my own nutrition counseling service if the opportunity arises.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
