- Hostel food was not good enough and the cleanliness was okay only
- Traveling from one department to another will take ages as the distance between most is quite high

Course Curriculum Overview
Mechatronics engineering exposes to both mechanical and electronics industrial backgrounds. From the first two years we are more focused on the mechanical engineering and the rest for electronic engineering.the course curriculum doesn't need any improvements as of my point of view. Please reduce the amount of homeworks staffs give out thats all.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible from the 3rd year for placements. And few of them like me if they don't want placements and go for higher studies they can opt that too. Min requirements is 6 Gpa for entering to placement portal. My plans are to pursue masters in germany
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for regular students was 180000, but if you received scholarship via LPUNEST it depends upon the marks you score and ranking. I got 50% scholarship which is regarded as the highest scholarship where I had to pay only 90000 per year. My batchmates paid accordingly to their score in LPUNEST
Campus Life
Lpu has alot of functions and festivals conducted throughout the year, the most important one is one india where all the students from around the country attend a rally representing their state which is a spectacular sight to watch
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was okay. I tookthe 4 tier room with air conditioner. We can opt for AC or cooler rooms and also tier rooms where we can have roomates id you want. Else if you're not a social butterfly you can always choose a single room as your comfort zone. Hostel food was bad.
Admission
I didn't apply to any other colleges. I only applied to LPU and got my admission. Lpu had scholarship programmes which were affordable for the course and for me I always wanted to study in lpu as it was my dream college. You only need to write the LPUNEST entrance exams which is quite easy to be honest for getting into LPU
Faculty
The faculty members are one of the best I have ever seen. They are exceptionally trained in their field and are very approachable. They are very friendly and kind, always there for you. The only problem is that they give out alot of homeworks that's the only issue.my class had one teacher for 24 students per subject. I don't have any exceptions, I liked every one of my staffs. Number of exam depends on the subject and semesters and most of them were quite tough.
