there is no quiries about college, every thing is perfect this college.
I liked the process of giving information in college app.
now im realizing that this is the best college i choosed.

Dislikes

if 3 cases can be registered your scholarship will be removed.
i didnt like that, this college did not give the exam papers, after the exam.
i didnt like the negative marks in the sem.

Placement Experience:

at final year the student is eligible for placement. for placement also this college trained you well. highest package is 3 crores per annum and average package is 6 LPA... some companies choose the persons they should have above 7.5 CGPA and some are choose above 6.5 CGPA like that...

I dont link - 9-5 classes every day and i dont like mess food
sunday we have also class of placement class .
mess food quality is average. some students are like mess food or some are not .

in our college there there are two type of placement On- campus and off Campus . students are alible to apply company after 4 sem . or at final year . and lpu also provide summer internship to yhe students . . from out of 100 studens 70 are get placment .

the diversity of people over there is some we look about to learn
the culture of college is well good serious of classes

Dislikes

quality teachers are not operated like just new phd comes to teach
hectic shedule of classes and exam cause mental pressure
mess food is not soo good there it depends for my case i dont like that food

LPU and it's incredibility

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and attracting.Lovely professional is like a mini city having a big mall with all food chains,6 floors library containing book of every type.More than three auditorium are there for every event conference etc.
Security is there first priority as every time you have to take permission from parents before going out of university, timing are bounded for going out and coming in back.
Education system and faculties are very good here and impressive as top level education is given to every student .All faculties are PHDs here.Lot of diversity is seen in this university.

Dislikes

Mess food is ok not impressive but good to eat as it is fresh but sometimes not tasty enough
Language barriers are there because of students all over the world are studying here
Sometimes Rude behaviour can be faced by other students because of different states and country

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in 6th semester.Vipro, Microsoft,Google,IBM etc. Highest package offered in LPU THIS year was 1 crore and average was 6 lakh.98./. Students got placed this year and this trend of placement is same from many years.My plans are for startup but after earning because startup needs investments.

Lovely professional University

Likes

Rooms are well maintained having air conditioner and fans
There are neat and clean washroom and seprate washroom for girls and boys
Well decorated campus and well maintained libarary

Dislikes

Staff are not coporating having trouble issues with staff
So confusing building you have to take help from political institutions
Reservation system in university is very bad

LPU: my dream college journey

from girl purpose security is good , alot of extra curricular activities are there students who are more in sports and represent college at national or international level special priviledges were given to those students in terms of fee etc.
there are alot of opportunities for the students who are willing to do something by their own like startups etc college also raise funds for their startups and help them in promoting their buisness at a good level.
teachers are very cooperative in class , attendance criteria is very strict minimum 75% of attendance is required to sit in the semester exams otherwise you were not allowed to write exams.

Dislikes

MESS food of the boys hostel 6 is not good at all and hostels are too expensive and for a middle class family it is very difficult to manage all this.
outside locality of the college is not good. locals used to interuppt to much outside the college activites . within 2km of area of college there are more than 4-5 wine shops
duty leaves given for attending events and students leave their classes and they lack behind in their acadmics . everyone should not get duty leaves.

Placement Experience:

my college offers placement like im in 3rd year of my engineering i have paid a fee of amount 16000 under which college provides us an extra prepration for placements under which they helps us to prepare for placements we call them pep classes every saturday these classes held in which we used to learn quantitaive skills , english skills etc.

Life in lovely professional university

The campus is so good and even the culture over there is too good but the environment inside the college is the best but outside the college i think it’s a bit bad in the sense of area people around a bit of a rural side
The faculty is too good and everything is too good the college also provides free apple lab where every object in the lab is of apple that too free of cost, the more the student is willing to do things the more college has things
The cirriculum and all are also good and timings and everything also good

Dislikes

The outside environment is a bit bad i mean the people of punjab are some what backwarded and also a bit short tempered
Im a typical south indian and the food over there in punjab wasn’t for me so this issue was the biggest for me and for some of my other friends too
The timetable and the timings of classes were good but in winters the temperature would be 1 degree and 2 degree at 9am even so that would be harder to go to classes at that time

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is nothing like i got influenced to the course by someone or something but i was intrested in computers and software so i did choose this course and the college seemed very good for this course so i did join in lpu the curriculum was so good in the college that every student was taken care and even if you lose and aubject there would be strict action taken and also some personal care by the mentor or any other staff there is no area to be improved in the curriculum the college made it the best way possible and the curriculum in lpu was the best i have seen compared to other colleges and coming to exams there is difficulty a bit but the teach was good that you wouldnt feel any such difficulty

Only good for computer science no other courrese were good no good faculty available
No social interactions nothing can roam here and there all day without taking classes
Teachers in civil department were not good don't know basics

Dislikes

No good faculty, no good canteen , no good environment only fights
Papers got leaked, hide things during inspection time
No learning, nothing good, overall it was my worst experience it spoiled my career

They said us college is near delhi college and when it comes it is 2 hours aeay from delhi college bus drivers usually drunk at my time it was very risky it was college responsibility but they don't know anything about anyone

College life of LPU

Likes

A good campus life with a lot of entertainment
good teaching skills of the faculty members
good friend circle and a friendly support of the faculty

Dislikes

Lot of misleading students and some of the outsiders
situated on the highway so if you reside privately you need to commute from far away
a lot of drug addictive students in the college campus

Placement Experience:

Since being in the list of top 3 colleges it holds a good placement record and halps its students in getting placed to best companies generally the placements starts from 5th semester and students can fill the forms according to thier choices

What is your review of Lovely Professional University?

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
