Dislikes

Large Batch Size-In some classes there is more than 100 students so class size is too much
Crowded Campus-There is too much crowd in library during the exams
Pressure on Academics-If you less than 6 cgpa then you are not eligible for placments

1.From 3rd semester you are eligible for placements 2.TCS,Wipro,Google,Microsoft,Accenture etc They gives good pacakges according to the domain 3.As the recent high pacakge is 24 lakh who is my classmate and average package is 5 lakh in every domain like Software Engineer,Data Analyst etc 4.89%Students are geeting placments 5.Pursuing MCA from lpu or get good placement in company

In short LPU

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the university most. As they have different and unique buildings for different courses students.
My social interaction was to good here because we can participate in different events.
In my course we have the current subjects which are trending in market.

Dislikes

The faculty teaching experience is the thing i disliked here, because they don't have too much experienced teacher, only few teacher have experience of teaching of more than 15 years.
Another thing i don't like is that they don't allow us to go outside without permission of our parents, although it is a good thing but sometimes they should allow us.
They also don't allow girls to roam in university after 8PM, but they should allow.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students can sit in campus placements. There are many componies like Cisco, TCS and Google visit our university for placements every year. Highest package is 3 crore and average packege is 7 lakh per anum. After getting the degree i will look for job in microsoft

Likes

First of the best class green infrastructure you will be tired and you will be not able to see whole university campus such big campus
Even the teachers or faculties are amazing they always solve your problem if you have any solution much cooperative staff
The boys and girls ratio are equal there are multiple students from different countries

Dislikes

There are not much thing which I dislike about college everything is fine till yet

My view of my college

Likes

I like the infrastructure and the maintenance of the classrooms and the maintenance of labs . Every class room will be cleaned everyday and the lab also cleaned everyday. They also take care of washroom they also clwan them everyday.
The lecturers are very good and also very welcoming about the doubts and they will also be very kind to the students. And they also care for the the students they help students in many ways off the class
I also like the library of the college. It is very big and you will find any book you need . And also we can take how many days we needed the book . There is no limit for the no of days .

Dislikes

I don't like the fact that the security are very powerful in the the college they can suspended any student on spot . And also they are some rude to the students. I think they have more power than the lecturers in the college premises

The course is pretty good and they will update the course every year . And they will introduce many new topics every year for the students. And also they will update and also tech them to the students and help the students in understanding the new topics

Lovely Private less academic more social University

See this college is renowned for it's infrastructure and speaking honestly the infrastructure is very good it's world class and very good it is spread across acres and is very vast also there are many food stalls inside it and best part is unimall
People from all over India come to Lpu for education I can say because i have seen people from south east west everywhere even it has foreign students in large quantities so this campus is diversified I can bet you can find people of your caste and r
Lpu has got it's own app Lpu touch and even the portal UMS i really benefitial to track your attendance feepayments classes and each student has a mentor here in university where they interact once in a month to dicuss college and academics i like it

Dislikes

The quality of campus I described has vices also it spread in almost 1000 acres so you have to walk almost 2 or 3 km daily to get toyour building if it's far depending on your course and you have to carry heavy laptop e-rickshaws are available but co
The faculty we had I did'nt like their teaching methods to that extent I mean you're paying a lot of money for this course but if faculty is nkt that impressive what is the point only one tacher was good of carrer planning
The girls boys ratio is almost equal in all aspects and thing is outside the campus there a literally smoking shops and lot of students are influenced by that and I have heard some drug cases too surrounding so be careful while choosing your friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest I wanted admission In IIM indore for the course of integrated BBA-MBA but i missed the Ipmat exam by just 3 perecnetile LPU was always my second option and i went with that anyways one thing i liked about this course is duration as it ends in 4 years which saves one precious year of life which influenced me because saving in an extra year that too in graduation is really helpful you get both bachelors and masters degree together combined. I already mentioned the courses name in first sem they were just revison of subjects of class 11 and 12 commerce nothing elso also here they conduct a lot of class tests almost oncs in a week i really don't like it you have to give so many tests in a week and if you don't end up well teachers taunt you. Still i read here subjects change after every sem and in next sem we will have some spreadsheet modellibg course and also statistics that is good because we'll learn something new and not just something I read in class 11 and 12th . Also one should know usage of Ms office because all the assignments provided in 1 sem where to presented in document ppt and detailed report had to be made so knowing ms office is mandatory to comply with assignments. Still it's too early to rate ther course as I've only spent 6 months here what if in next sem faculties are very good

Architecture of college . environment is very good and campus is full of greenery
Study is very good and I am very happy with the facilities provided by the University
There is no strick rules and regulations

Dislikes

Some times food is not much better,so I have eat outside
During rain in some areas storage of water occurs

In lpu division of courses is I liked most.because Two programming languages has to be teached for one semester so that the curriculum of courses in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very good

My journey with LPU

Likes

Very good environment for girls and clean and Clear campus
Having a very great avg package of 7 lakhs
The ratio of girls and boys is 2:3 , and every one get opportunity

Dislikes

Thing I hate in college is that campus should be enlarged
Boys are smokers that harmful for your surroundings
And many students don't go class regularly

Placement Experience:

There are hundred plus placement partners of my college and very good placement of 100% with avarage package of seven lakhs •5th •microsoft •57 lakhs •100% •placement job And in lat very good environment

Likes

The things that I like the most in LPU is the diversities like student comes not only from India but from outside India also so it's a great click from for interacting and creating network
One more thing is like you basically focus on your developing skills so that you can have a good skin for the corporates

Dislikes

The things that I disliked the most is the faculties I can say the facilities in LPU is not up to the mark

The placement offer MBA in LPU is not up to the mark like the companies that come for MBA in LPU are not a good companies like the fake companies are also coming to just for sailing purpose like I am doing MBA in finance and investment banking and the company basically comes for marketing purpose and they push it in the marketing placement also but be refuse to do so like we have paid a lot of harder money of our parents and cannot sit in new environment of placement of marketing. The placement sale of LPU is worst and unfriendly to the students. They just want to show the 100% placement for that they can do what so ever needed they can send student to any company whether it is good or not

LPU: A Comprehensive Review

Likes

The infrastucture is top notch, no compromises on that
the campus life is vibrant and pleasing.
Couples can roam freely and lots of events happens inside the campus

Dislikes

The blocks are a lot far away so we might need to walk a lot
The lab services arent well managed and upto the mark
The campus is a lot crowded as it is too big

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is industry oriented and well updated. The syllabus prepares the students for proper placements. The career pathway makes the difference to choose a course. Improvement should me made for the students that want to pursue higher studies instead of placements.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
