Iit ropar offers a great range of scholarship opportunities for students.
The placement opportunities are very good here even in core branches it is good
I liked the campus first of all, its so beautiful . the four pillars at the entry is the main attraction of campus

Dislikes

There are no air conditioning system in hostels leading to problems in summer
They did scam as they converted the single rooms to double rooms this is really bad as they took fesss they it is to promote bonding but this is a piece of shit
Mess food is not so good here it is not tasty

Good Oppertunity

Placement Experience:

students from the 7th semester are eligible for placements and the companies visited are Swiggy, Amazon, Saavan, Zomato, Samsung, Irage, Accenture, American Express, Walmart, Jaquar, Vedantu, etc, each company takes atleast 3-4 students. The highest package is 38 lakh offered by irage and the average package is around 18 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed is above 80% I plan to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

More than 90 percent of students get placed in Computer Science and Engineering. The average package is above 12 lakhs per student. IIT ROPAR is ranked 25 in engineering institutes ranking by NIRF. Overall 80 percent or more students get placed per year. I am planning for research after MTech in Mechanical Engineering.

1. As IIT is one of the best institute of India. 2. Better research opportunity. Admission process: Qualifying jee mains the jee advance under 15000 rank. Generally, jee main is conducted in month of Jan and march and jee advance in month of may.

IITs offer amazing culture and student base including people from all around India. This not only helps in developing your technical skills but your personality as an individual. I Had an interest in Mechanical engineering so I pre decided that i will go for mechanical engineering so I started searching for college that matches with my rank and my preferred stream and after searching a lot I decides to choose IIT Gandhinagar as first preference and IIT Ropar as my second preference but i couldn't got IIT Gandhinagar and managed to get Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar

Life in IITs

Remarks:

I don't think that there are something bad regarding our college as I am completely satisfied with my college. The only thing could be food a little bit. Others are completely fine.

Being in IIT

Remarks:
