- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

Note:
The fee payable at IIT Ropar is subject to change as per the Institute rules.
All SC and ST students will get a 100% tuition fee exemption.
The most economically backward students, whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum, shall get full remission of the tuition fee.
The other economically backward students, whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum, shall get a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.
The SC/ST students whose parental income is less than 4.5 lacs will get a free messing scholarship.

- Our college placement is so good and averge package is about 10 LPA
- Mess food is quite good .so many varity will seen in our mess.

our institute fees will divide in three different ways . 1st those student family income is above 5lakh they have to pay full fees that is 114000, 2 those student family income in between 1to5 lakh they have to pay 47684, 3 those student have income less than 1lakh they have to pay 14000 .
Likes
- I like overall campus life of the college. We can roam in college campus whole night also.
- I liked the infrastructure. It is better than many old generation IIT's

- The food is not good in mess and mess fees is also high
- Since it is a new college so college culture is nit so developed

Fess is approx 10 -11lacs for whole 4 years for general category with no income certificate. Yes, financial aid is provided on basis os income and caste and sometimes on basis of CGPA also. Each sem tution fess increase at rate of 5-7k

- this collage has great infrastructure, campus life and hostels
- placements are good at this institute and courses and curriculum is also good.
Dislikes
- Mess food of this campus is okay but I think it has to be improved, and no. of canines in this campus is also should be improve.
- In summer it get too hot in Punjab and our hostel has no facility like A.C although classrooms and libs have that's that one issue.

the grneral fees for btech is 107000 anf if your income is less than 5lakh or 1lakh the you need to pay 46000 and 13000 respectively.complit cost is around 125000per year. Various scholarships are given by the institute including institute, meritcum mean scholarship.to the student to provied them finical aid.over all placement in campus is good and almost all student get placed.

- I like mechanical engineering in the campus as there as too many labs and facilities provided.
- The cleanliness and view of the college too good

- I don't like food in our campus as I am from South
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fee will be in our campus 7000/- per semester for reserved categories and 100000 for general categories and there will be a study loan option with in the campus. Including all overall performance year I'll charge 50k-70k. For reserved categories we can avail for NSP scholarship.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
Fee is normalised, there is no any kind of hike in it. Cost of study is less compared to other IITs, so, financially, it is better than others'. Many scholarship schemes had been launched, for reserved quotas, or for achievers , or giving schemes for PG/PhD students. Average salary was 15-20 lpa after getting placement, and also PPO offers also come after internships. Although IIT Ropar is a budding 2nd Generation IIT, but it is developing faster.

Fee has been raising steadily. The cost of study are relatively constant as most of the material for studies is provided by faculties. Various scholarships are available on basis of merit. Some special scholarships are available to reserved student candidates only.

From time to time information is updated via mail regarding NSP (National Scholarship Portal) to the students via broadcast facilities. SC and ST students need to pay around Rs. 15000 /semester. Specially abled students and girls are provided additional scholarship from institute.

No, I did not opt for scholorship or loan. At that time fees was not that much but, for those who want to avail it can do so by contacting IIT Ropar SBI and may get zero percent interest loan easily

Scholarship are provided for top rankers in jee advance in their respective branch if their family income is less than what is set by college and SC and ST students do not need to pay fee irrespective of rank and family income.
