- I liked the competitive environment and helping nature of campus ,safe for girls , ragging is not done ,just few interactive sessions with seniors, u can also explore ur talent in other fields , large campus area , various other activities other than
- Helpful seniors , mentor is provided to bunch of students at the start of the session
- Safe environments for girls , greenery around the campus
Dislikes
- Lots of insects and bugs due to lot of plants
- Very strict and abiding academic calendar
- Attendance is mandatory at least 75percent

Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fees is 113600 for General,46934 for Gen-Ews/OBC,13,600 for Sc/St Hostel fees is 3000 for btech ,and mess charges are 19400 for btech students The above information is given per semester and it is subject to change for different semester The fees during admission is quite high due to certain admission charges and some 35000 approx is also taken during josaa counselling which is ultimately deducted(30000, 5000 is cut as counseling fee by josaa ) from your tuition during admission .

- Our college has a very good research culture. Making it one of the best second tier iit.
- Profs are young and are understanding and tech very well.
- The acedemics of our college is one of the best in India.
Dislikes
- Our college has a little underdeveloped campus. Although the buildings that are made are pretty well. But things like indoor court are missing. But it has been said that it will be made available soon
- The investment in clubs is a little less i think. Our colleges primary focus is on academics
- There is no swimming pool which wveryone in our college dislikes
Fees and Financial Aid:
1st semester tution fees for general students is about 113000 and the hostel fees including mess is about 29000. Thereafter for the remaining semesters the tutuin fee is about 1lakh and the hostel and mess fees is about 19000. For sc st category the tution fee is about 7000.
Likes
- The hostels are quite good and well maintained.
- The overall campus is large. It provides a very spacious environment.
- There is no time limit for the entry and exit in the hostel premises.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not quite good as expected.
- There is no dedicated shop for dairy products.
- The college is a bit far from the main city. So, people have to travel to buy any stuff they want to buy.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The yearly fee structure is around Rs.1,14,000 which is the academic fees only. The tuition fee is fixed, that is, Rs.1,00,000, the other Rs.14,000 is other fees like medical, Student Activity Fund(SAF), etc. As I am a SC student I don't have to pay the tuition fee I just pay the other expenses.

- Infrastructure is amazing and building are made properly by designing.
- IIT has incubation centre and innovation lab that encourage students and researchers to develop their ideas into viable business solution.
- Placement of IIT is very good and It is just amazing because of its faculty members.
Dislikes
- Transporation facility is less but all things are good.
- I really can't find anything in this institute that I not liked.
- Fees is too much and a middle class can't afford.
Fees and Financial Aid:
IIT ROPAR fee structure is high. I got admission in MSc Chemistry and fee is around 75000 per annum and hostel accomadation fee is around 35- 40k. Scholarship will be provided on the basis of Merit and scholarship named as Merit-cum- Means {MCM} .
Likes
- I liked the proffesors teaching which is so good that you can grasp any of the thing they said with one night preparation
- The infrastructure of the college is so good that there is an super academic block which is awesome
- Also the non academic things is the college like sports are so good
Dislikes
- There are not many clubs that of my interest which is so bad
- There are very less canteens available to students
- Hostel rooms are small which is one thing I dint like
Fees and Financial Aid:
All the years I will be paying a course fee of 1 lakh and we should pay a fees of 23 thousand for hostel and mess in total and there would be a rebate for 20 days.this is the total fees that we would be paying for each semester for four years.registration fees for mess is 5000,and the josaa registration fees is 7000 all I have said is for general category students,and also hostel fees is same for all category students.for sc,st there won't be any course fee.for obc,they have to pay 47 thousand if their parents annual income is in the range of 1-5 lakhs. There would an merit cum means scholarship for all students whose parents income is less than five lakhs and secured a cg of 6.5 and above would be getting a scholarship amount of 4thousand per semester of four months this is all what I know regarding scholarships as I am a general category student so I can't get any of the scholarships

- The crowd. Students are really bright and overall provides a good healthy competitive environment
- The clubs. A lot of cultural, sports, literary and tech clubs are present.
- Placements. A lot of good companies regularly visit for placemements
Dislikes
- Reachability, location is a bit off, in rural rupnagar
- While there are a few options for food and groceries, i feel we need even more of them
- Students are somewhat lax towards builiding a strong culture in terms of participation.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fee for general students is 1Lakh per semester. For students with income below 5 lakh and more than 1 lakh, 1/3 rd amount has to be paid while no tuition fee for those below 1 lakh annual income. Merit cum means scholarship is available for top 7% students each semester who perform good academically. Other govt scholarships are also available via government scholarship portal.

- Attendence Criteria is 75%, most disliked thing by all students

The tution fee is 1 lakh per semester. The students with family income less than 1 lakh per annum can avail 100 % scholarchip, students with income 1-5 lakh can avail 66% scholarship in tution fee. SC/ST students have 100% scohalarship regardless of their income.

- Climate of our college is very different in summer there is so much hotness.
- Acedmic session is so tough and very hard exam was taken

our institute fees will divide in three different ways . 1st those student family income is above 5lakh they have to pay full fees that is 114000, 2 those student family income in between 1to5 lakh they have to pay 47684, 3 those student have income less than 1lakh they have to pay 14000 .

- The infrastructure of the college is soo good . this is a new IIT so the central govt gives the funds to the college which makes college to not lack even a single facility
- The opportunities are soo much huge in this college be it in any domain
- the extracurricular activities clubs and sports all of these cultures are hugely available
Dislikes
- the location of the college far from the city
- travel facility to this college as less public transport is available
- lack of proper canteens and hotels inside the college

there is complete fee waiver for sc/st and those whose income is less than 1 lakh for those who fall in range from 5lakh-1lakh has to pay 40k per sem and the rest should pay 1.2lakh per sem mess and hostel fee keeps changing from sem tosem

- College culture is very awesome and night is very engaging. I enjoy my college life.
- Acedmic is very strict and to achieve max score we have to study daily. College provide good opportunity for placement
- College provide best internship opportunities. We have to struggle more to achive this.
Dislikes
- Acedmics is very script and we have to study on daily basis
- Sports facilities are not so updated no cricket ground
- Overral experience is very nice but ministry can improve it
Fees and Financial Aid:
College provide financial assistance to students whose have family income less than 5 lakh. And also provide medical claim to all students. College provide scholarship to students who scored good marks.
