The acedemics of our college is one of the best in India.

Fees and Financial Aid:

1st semester tution fees for general students is about 113000 and the hostel fees including mess is about 29000. Thereafter for the remaining semesters the tutuin fee is about 1lakh and the hostel and mess fees is about 19000. For sc st category the tution fee is about 7000.

The guide to IIT Ropar

I am currently a student at IIT ropar and I feel that it's a great college. In every aspect it has a lot of potential and is growing on a yearly basis. The college fees is also not really high considering the smartphone facilities that we get. I even feel that it's just a little too amazing to get all of these for the fees I paid. It's about 2 lakhs per annum, but it's really worth it for the quality education and also the several amazing features of IITs. Along with that just in case someone still is unable to afford then they also have option of scholarships. IIT provides several merit based sponsorship. Also many private companies also sell our college to provide scholarship to some of the brightest minds of our country. In my opinion it's increasing every year and it's not decreasing. Hence I feel that my college is one of the best colleges and would love to be a student here for next 4 years, learn many more things and experience some of the best moments of my life. Overall I feel that the facilities make the fees worth it.

IIT Ropar, a brief overview

Tution fee for general students is 1Lakh per semester. For students with income below 5 lakh and more than 1 lakh, 1/3 rd amount has to be paid while no tuition fee for those below 1 lakh annual income. Merit cum means scholarship is available for top 7% students each semester who perform good academically. Other govt scholarships are also available via government scholarship portal.

Fees is mostly affordable compared to most eng colleges. Student loan is available by SBI branch of college itself at generous interest rates so it is not an issue. Many scholarships are also there to be availed.

Tution fee for IIT are almost same as other colleges or maybe slightly on the lesser side . But there are many scholarships programs that helps the students. For ex people who get more cgpa than 6 will get scholarship of more than 30k if the avg income is less than 2 lakhs
