NIT Jalandhar admission at the UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD level is based on different entrance exam scores accepted by the institute. Much like other NITs, BTech is the major degree program at NIT Jalandhar. Admission to the flagship program is based on JEE Main rank and JoSaa counselling. To get admission in any NIT or IITs for Masters in Technology one has to give an Exam of GATE and after qualifying it you can taken admission in your respective NIT or IIT according to your ranks Nit's are mostly known for their good education and placements along with all other activities as I was getting some other state college but that was good standing anywhere compared to NITJ.

- The girls to boy's ratio in our branch is 1:3

- The events are best part of college life. in NIT jalandhar 2 main events are organized by college clubs. Team technical affairs organize Techniti event it is technical event and Team cultural affairs organize Utkansh that is cultural event.

- accadmics work have lot of headache. for many work you have to walk lot from one person to another.

NIT Jalandhar is not the top best college but it is a good college to complete the degree. i am from Punjab and this is near my home town, otehr all the colleges have large distance soo i chose this college. addmision process is simple just follow the instruction and steps mentioned after selecting college in Josa rounds. placement is normal campus is not in the city so we face some difficulty.,

1.I was getting mechanical engineering at NIT Surathkal and mathematics and computing at Nit Jalandhar. So I preferred to take tech branch and also keen interest in mathematics 2.No rejection 3.admission process is by jossa and csab counseling 4.By writing JEE main exam and getting a good percentile

My college is very good competative to the other colleges because I was came her by clearing mains and my college is 10 nirf ranking in nits and good skills was teaches here and and teaching faculty is good then other colleges

- Campus life is also vivid and healthy. There is no ragging snd the peers have a sense respect among themselves.

- The sports infrastructure is weak as of now, but it seems to be improving as well
- The teaching methods of the faculties is spectrum in is own. Some trschers are very good in tesching and some lack the energy to do so
Admission:
I got the college through counselling system based on the ranking system in entrance exams. The entrnace exam which is needed is JEE Mains. I apllied for other op NITs but could not make to them due to lack of merit and reservation system. The college's admission process is also very simple. After a seat is alloted in the subsequent counselling round, you have to pay seat acceptance fees and partial admission fees(all of which is memtioned in the Jossa counselling brochure). After that you have to go through document verification stage and thats it.

- This college has students comming from various regions and different diversities where all people blend well.
- The faculty is well versed in their subjects and are highly experienced.
Dislikes
- The ratio of girls to boys is very low about 1:5.
- The college lacks in providing proper sports facilities.
Admission:
Apart from this college I've applied only to Manipal Institute of Technology. It's a pretty good college and I made into it but I kept it as my back up choice if I didn't make it into a good NIT. I chose this college over the latter because of the prevalence of national importance. The admission process in this college is pretty simple and easy. One is admitted on the basis of their JEE mains rank through JISAA counselling.

- I like the infrastructure facilities in my college. I like the campus. It is lush green and beautiful.
- I like the social life here in my college. As it is a NIT, you get to interact with a variety of people from different groups.

- I dislike the biasing here because of faculties and residents.
- I dislike the indulgence of security guard every here and there and the disruption because of them.

I appeared for JEE mains exam and I got this college from JOSAA counselling which is being done after JEE exam. I chose this college on factors like NIRF ranking, distance from my home town, placement records etc. Apart from NIT Jalandhar, I also filled NIT Jaipur, NIT Hamirpur etc. according to the distance from hometown and other factors. I did not get into them because of my JEE rank. I was getting a lower branch there and I got a circuital branch in my college. To get admission in NIT Jalandhar, you have to appear in JEE mains exam. The cutoff to get this college depends on what is your category.
