NIT Jalandhar M.Tech: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In first semester I paid around 80000 tution fee while in 2nd sem it was 77000 same for the third and fourth semester as well. This is for the general category students it may vary for other categories. Like for SC/ ST category they were provided i guess 50% discount , although not sure about it.

I had taken my admission in 2021-2023 session with Obc category so it was 2 year course(4 semester) -For Hosteller(1st semester) Tuition fees-35000 Other-30500 Total -65500 For Hosteller(2nd semester) Tuition fees-35000 other-25500 Total -60500 For Hosteller(3rd semester) Tuition fees-35000 other fees-30500 Total-65500 For Hosteller(4th year) Tuition fees-35000 Other fees-25500 Total-60500

I paid about 66,000 rupee for my Mtech course for OBC and all category its same for the Mtech course ,here per month we get the scholarship from mhrd of rupee 12500 that is only the financel support made by the government

The Tuition fee is around 1 Lac per annum. Since you'd get a Stipend of Rs 12400 per month, your fee expenses would ve met by that. If you are in the self sponsored category and not getting a Stipend you can apply for Scholarships like MOMA, ST scholarship, State Government Scholarships, etc

The college also provides excellent scholarships through a variety of programmes, including the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Merit Scholarship, National Scholarship for ST/SC, Post-Matric Scholarship, Dr Partap Singh Memorial Scholarship, Siemens India Scholarship for first-year engineering students, and Dr M Sen Memorial Scholarship.

The average college program fee for the complete course is around 2 lakh and the college also provides a good package as the average salary package is around 12-15 LPA so as per the fee the packages offers are worth it. Application forms for means cum merit scholarship are available in National E-Scholarship Portal. Siemens India Scholarship is given to first year engineering students. Dr. Pratam Singh Memorial Scholarship and 2500 scholarships for students with disabilities are supported by the institute.

They are excellent. The faculty of this institution are very updated when in terms of technology. They are always updated about the new technologies in textile.they are very helpful and there's a teacher named dr. J.N.Chakraborty, he is very talented teacher and has knowledge about literally everything.

Course curriculum is good and teaches all the basics but it is not upto the date due to which students do not get to know the latest technology being followed in the industry. Faculty particularly in textile department is good.

As I am an industrial engineer student, some companies don't allow to sit in interviews because of lack of technical knowledge.So our department added some subjects related to technology and automation and still working on it to provide technical knowledge to students.
