Faculty

The faculty to student ratio differs from branch to branch since their is bifercation even inside branches . The relevancy of course is getting upgraded earlier it was not at all relevant but it has changed from 2025 and new learning based course has been included hence i would not be able to answer for now. The exams are comparitivlely easy maximum everything comes from PYQ and no indepth research is required for the topic. Not many students failed the exams and in mechanica it is not that students are held due to shortage of knowledge.

Campus Life

our biggest fest is the engifest which is a 3 day event but the month is decided by the faculties and coorperate members. The library is not good the books are only limited in number and that too in to ratio of 1:5 . Many students dont find books in the libraray that is recommeneded by the professor.

In my college there are the catagories based on the income like less than 1 lakh has fee of course around 141000 and same for some reservation people like who belongs to SC/ST or PWD and for whose income is between 1 to 5 lakh have to pay around 307720 for the 4 year course and whose income is above 5 lakh have to pay around 641000. I lie in the catagory of income 1 to 5 lakh . College do not provide any scholarship on the meritious bases whereas there private scholarships like provided by reliance , kotak etc ...

There are many clubs in our college like of drone related , ai-ml , robotics and automation... Having technical fests evey 2 to 3 months. We can acess any book from the library by registering at online portal for 1 semester. The classrooms are advanced including one digital podium and one sliding screen and one big LED and speeker systems . There are many extracurricular activities in the campus like involving in the social welfare rural club , nss and many sports club

faculty to student ration is preety good . and the faculties are approachable easily . they are very helpful and help the students very much . best faculties consists banalakshmi maam , satyendra sir as they are much helpful . i personally dont like lala tendu sir as he makes very tough paper and other faculties dont teach of that level . exams per semester includes mid sem , end sem , quizzes and there difficulty level varies everytime . many students fail the exams because of their lack of preparations . course curriculum is relevant and properly structured

from 5th sem students become eligible for campus placement . companies like google , microsoft , amazon visits the campus and have many offers . highest packages were 52 lpa by google , amazon , microsoft , branchwise percentage of students getting placed varies from 80 to 100 percent . i want a good placement after the degree

IIT Delhi: A thorough walkthrough

The fees for B.Tech depends on the annual family income of the student. If the annual family income is more than ?5 lakhs, then the student is required to pay the full tution fee, that is ?1 lakh per semester. If the annual family income is between ?1 lakh and ? 5 lakhs, the the tution fee is ?33,333 per semester, and if the annual family income is less than ?1 lakh, then there is no tution fee at all. The above is for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL only. The is 0 tution fee for SC and ST students. There are other fees that every student has to pay, regardless of the branch or category. These include hostel fee of ?13,000 per semester, and mess fee of around ?35,000 to ?45,000 per semester. The mess fee in particular is very random and varies from person to person. Every other fees like bus fee, lab fee, hostel gym fee, examination fee, etc. are already included in the hostel fee and tution fee. The fee is more or less constant every year, but also increases in every 3-4 years. There is a security deposit of ?15,000 and a one time fee of ?47,000 was also taken before admission. Also, there are many scholarship opportunities in the college. If your income is less, and you maintain a decent CGPA, you are eligible for merit cum means (MCM) scholarship every semester, that is around ?25,000 every semester. Also, if your GPA is in the top 7% in the college, the also you will get the top 7% scholarship every year. Apart from this, there are several scholarship opportunities for every student in the first year, especially for female students. I believe every second student of our college studies on some scholarship.

The campus life here is 10/10. No doubt about that. There is something for everyone. There are various clubs like Entrepreneurship Development Club, Developer Club, Physics and Astronomy Club, Economics club, Music club, Dance club, Drama Club, etc., which student can be a part of. Apart from this, there are 2 main fests here, one is the cultural fest Rendezvous, which is held in October every year, and another is Tryst, our technical fest, which is held in March every year. Every student wait for these to come. The have footfall in lakhs. Apart from these, SportTech, our sports fest, and Kaizen, our social fest are also organised. Also, there are societies of every department. Apart from the clubs and societies, there are ample sports opportunities like cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, aquatics, tennis, table tennis, chess, athletics, etc. There is an institute team of every sport, that participate in inter-IIT tournament held every year. We also have one of the largest libraries of North India, wher there are ample books, journals, thesis and research papers to study. The central library also provides a quite place to study. There are also several student run organizations, like SHare, bloodconnect foundation, NSS IIT Delhi, etc., that focusses on social work.

The faculty to student ratio is good .You can reach out to faculty members in the office time if you want to they are cooperative on tutoring you.You can also email them your problem if you want .And for every course we have tutorials were for 30 students you will have one tutor which act actually as a friend if he is not professor .Also you can all doubts of the class in tutorial session you still find difficulty you can talk to your mentor assigned to you .I like Biplab Basak he taught us Mtl 100 course in spring semester he is such a kind hearted person also Abhishek dixit he taught us ell 100 in spring semester with all of its efforts . During first sem i find all the peofessor here good and kind.You will have minor and major in every semester they are easy if you study atleast 14 days before your exam .But as the grading is relative you may find it difficult .Only a few students fail to clear the exam because they are too much indulge in other activities but if they foccused a little only on the lecture notes they may be able to pass.I think the exams here are relevant to the course curriculum because you will see the question is well designed to access your knowledge on the subject.

In the course currriculumn we are taught to become ready for the real world applications. During 1st year we have courses like mcp100 and mcp 101 in which we learn manual methods of enginnering drawing although we have autocad which is told to us but if you know manual way of drawing than it means you know the base .On the other hand in mcp 101 we are learning both manual weilding methods as well as robotic wielding method ,3d printing,Fitting and sheet metal.In first year you are going to have taste of all departments that makes you more better to understand what you are loving.Later in my department institute offers us to visit the industry where products are actullay made and designed .I think the frequency of exam is well adjusted with academic calender . I thought they need to turn more towards the modern technique rather than focusing on the ancient one .

My Personal Feelings About My College

There are two types of fest in our college. One is cultural fest whose name is "CULRAV" and other is techincal fest whose name is "AVISKAR". These festivals are held in typically november. Our college's library is also big enough for students with lots of collection of books. Almost all necessary books are available in our college's library. The classrooms of our college is also very good with a projector in almost every classroom. Our sport's culture is also very good. It also participate in inter NIT sports competition and achieves good rank in it. There are many clubs in our college like dancing club, coding club, photography club, dramatics club etc which provides students to follow their passion other than studies.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies provides interships for our students of our college. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys etc provides technical branches with a really good stipend ranging from 10000 rupees per month to 1 lakh per month. Other companies like Mahindra, Maruti and Tata also visits in our campus for placements and interships and they also provides a good stipend. They mainly recrute the both technical role and core role like mechanical and production students. I am now currently working on the core projects how to become a engine more efficient in the future.

College Life by an Aspiring Student

There is annual fest known as THAR which is held once every year in RTU. It includes dance competition, singing and rap battles and also provide some employment in the form of stalls that are being set by the local vendors. The library is easily accessible and have almost every book regarding his/her course. You just need a library card to issue any book from library. The official library card is provided by the university itself at the time of filling of enrollment form. There are certain clubs run by students such as Robotics club, Dance club,SRC workshop etc. There are also courses like NSS, NCC and Sports for extra curricular activities of students.

So I paid my first semester fees of 50000/-. So the yearwise tution fees will be around 1 lakh (it includes 2 semesters). Other categories like TFWS are asked to submit less fee as compared to the general students They pay around 6000/- for one semester plus 7000/- qoution money. There are also different fee structure for different types of branches. The additional fee of 3000/- is required to be submitted for enrollment form. Then for each semester the exam fee of 2200/- is to be paid. For scholarship you have to visit the official website of RTU as I didn't get any benefit from scholarship program I know mu h less about it. Thank you

ABOUT MY COLLEGE

The courses start from basic , firstly the focus will be on grasping theory , my interest in mechanical engineering made me choose this course . the the curriculum is of 60% theroy exams and 40% of practicals and external viva and labs , which makes the overall course more interesting. course curriculum is fine as of now , i dont think there is a such need of improvements. midsems are about 1:30 hr and end sems are about 2.30 hr and the exam length fits in it and difficulty is usually moderate.

The 2 big events which are held in our college are #culrav and #avishkar whch are held in november and march respectively. other then that we have many events under student bodies like rangtaadi during dussehra, etc . we have a good ennough library where there are good amount of books related to the course and other stuff like , businesses and finance. class rooms have decent enough chairs and projector for ecah of them

Course curriculum is quite ok, everyone has to study the same subjects even if they are form other branches,,,, all have to study the same and the cirriculum is also not that hard we get good numbers in exam and we dont have any problem

All about mnnit campus and college life

I pay 62000 per year for admission fee this will include all the fees including caution fees,admision fees and other fees as well as hostel fee and 50000 for mess fee per year The fees will be actually basis on the income of your parents ,if it less than 1 lakh then fee will 31000 per semester and for more than 1 lakhh and less than 5 lakh it is apprx. 42000 per semester and for more 5 lakh it is 92000 per semester and mess fees will same for all the students which is 25000 per semester And there is stundest cum merit scholarship which is given to top 5 students of every branch and the amount is 10000 also you can apply for state wise scholarship also there is scholarship for students whose cpi is greater than 9 and amount is apprx 10000 Fee wise all the national institute of technology college is same but for others colleges the fees will be different and you will get all the facilities here. It means apprx 1 lakh 14 thousand fee is for whom whose parents income is less than 1 lakh per year .So I think the fees is not too much high and also the refund will be provided by mess if you are going to home.

There are lot of faculty in our college and every subjects have almost different teachers that gives the best knowledge to us .The best faculty in our college is mechanical they are very talented and soft also .and their knowledge is actually very great if you want your in any of the filed they will actually support you if you talk to them personally..In my opinion. There is no faculty that I dislike all are actually good one. In every semester we have on ekid sem and one end semester where the weitage of mid sem is 20 and end sem is 60 and rest 20 marks 5 marks is attendance and rest your assignment given by professor and your behaviour in class also . Basically it's not too difficult to score good depends on you and sometimes proferssers also and yes most of the students got supply in few of the subjects

The institute is helpful towards students in paying their fee. First understand the fee structure so their are two parts the institute fee and then the hostel fee The institute fee is 98500 approx (including hostel) and mess fee is 25000 Scholarships are usually given on institute fee(excluding hostel fee) Scholarships are available on basis of income categories such as below 5lpa and 1 lpa Moreover you can go for your state government scholarships The institute also provides merit scholarships for being in top 5% of your branch.

Faculty available in the college is highly qualified Most of them are phds from reputed colleges and they promote learning Examination culture might seem daunting but it is easily doable We have quizzes midsem and endsem for every subject and on an average we have 6-7 subjects so easily we are surrounded by exams all around Students generally clear the exam very few fail and even those who fail clear their backlog by giving back paper

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Thomso is the cultural fest and Cognizance is the technical fest of my college. Cognizance is scheduled in the first week of March and Thomso in the last week of October. The library in IIT Roorkee is one of the finest library of India with availability of all kinds of books related to journels, courses and researches as well. Coming to the sports section, IIT Roorkee has an excellent sports facility with high quality accessories and maintained courts, grounds for all outdoor as well as Indore sports. Their are many college clubs in the campus which increases students interest in co-curricular activities and help them follow their passion. Inter-IIT is a event that happens both for cultural as well as sports in which all IITs participate and compete making great bonding within different IITs as well.

In terms of my course relevance, the courses are quite relavent but in few areas you will still find that theory is given more importance. The curriculum here is the best for any college students to upgrade him/herself in a greater version of himself. The frequency of exams depends on the course professors generally, mainly one have their Mid-Term and End-Term Exams apart that they have quizzes, assignments and tutorials as well whose frequency varies according to the need of that particular course.

Entangled threads of IIT Delhi.

In October, we have a cultural fest known as Rendezvous, which is also Asia's largest college fest. In January - February, we have a tech-fest known as Tryst There are a lot of books available in the central library from thesis to other academic and course books, and it's quite easy to issue one. Apart from the central library.. hostels have libraries too, which consist of fiction/non-fiction books as well as academics. It does have great infrastructure and labs, too, but it's a bigger picture. In detail, the computers in the lab are old, and keyboards have serious issues; the physics lab equipment is mostly faulty, while the chemistry lab equipment is quite good. There is SAC(Student Activity Council), which has rooms for cultural clubs as well as sports spaces, and apart from that, there is a Mittal complex to which you can get a membership to okay sports. There are clubs and sites like the Board of Students Welfare, which give access to previous year's question papers to counsellors. Apart from that, there are a lot of different clubs too, like literature, debating, arts and crafts, fashion, photography etc.

So my tuition fee is 100000 per semester and I have a total of 8 semesters apart from it there are other charges too like an examination fee of 1500, gym fees of 1250, internet and computer access fee of 100, medical fees of 750, registration fees of 750, student distress fund scheme of 400, transportation fees of 100 and hostel rent fee of 8600. At the time of admission, there are a few one-time security deposits too, which vary in every admission and can be accessed on the main website of IIT Delhi. For low-income families, i.e. below 5 lakh to 2 lakh, the tuition fee is 33333, and for SC/ST students and people with income less than 1 lakh, the tuition fee is ?0. Though there are ways by which you can avail for fee recession it's not available for all and is given based on merit. More information is present on the internet and the main website of IIT Delhi.
