Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have huge interest in mechanical engineering and management so I choose this course. In my course Production and Industrial engineering it provides real world experience how the industrial production and its management works.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many companies provides interships for our students of our college. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys etc provides technical branches with a really good stipend ranging from 10000 rupees per month to 1 lakh per month. Other companies like Mahindra, Maruti and Tata also visits in our campus for placements and interships and they also provides a good stipend. They mainly recrute the both technical role and core role like mechanical and production students. I am now currently working on the core projects how to become a engine more efficient in the future.

Placement Experience

5

The placements of our college is really amazing with overall average package of 17lpa and highest package of 1.3cr. The average package of cse is 23lpa. Many students do not get placement but they are doing some amazing things in their life as they are following their dreams.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 1.6 lakh indian rupees. This include the hostel fee, intitute fee, user charges, caustion money, tution fee. The hostel fee is 12000 thousand per semester, intitute fee is 10000, user charges is 5000, and tution fee is 20833 thousand rupees. My friend is of gen category and his is 94,700 thousand rupees. There are various scholarships and financial aids available for students through national scholarship portal and state governments.

Campus Life

5

There are two types of fest in our college. One is cultural fest whose name is "CULRAV" and other is techincal fest whose name is "AVISKAR". These festivals are held in typically november. Our college's library is also big enough for students with lots of collection of books. Almost all necessary books are available in our college's library. The classrooms of our college is also very good with a projector in almost every classroom. Our sport's culture is also very good. It also participate in inter NIT sports competition and achieves good rank in it. There are many clubs in our college like dancing club, coding club, photography club, dramatics club etc which provides students to follow their passion other than studies.

Hostel Facilities

4

First year hostel is very nicely built and provides every needed facility to the students. Hostel rooms are big enough and there are 4 students in one room. There are 4 beds, 4 cupboards , 4 chair and tables in one room for 4 students. The quality of food in the mess is also average and they maintain the hygiene in the mess. Hostels are provided to the students at the time of their physical registration during the admission and it is also affordable because there are only 12000 thousand ruppees for one semester.

Admission

I chose this college over the other colleges I applied because it is Tier 1 engineeing college in India. MNNIT Allahabad comes in Top 5 nits in India, and its placements are also better than most of the engineering college. I didn't get IIT because I not cleared jee adv. Our college takes admission from Jossa councelling which is based on Jee Mains and Jee advance score.

Faculty

5

There is 1:30 faculty to student ratio in our college. Faculty to student relationship is really good as they are easily approachable and helpful. I liked our maths professor most as he really a good teacher and explains the subject very well. There are mainly two exams one is mid sem and another is end sem. Nearly every student clears the exams the course curriculum is very relevant.

Night Life

5

The night life of our college is amazing and there is no problem for students to roam in campus in night. Some restrictions are there for first year students as their intime for the hostel is 10:00 pm. But from the second year there is not such restrictions on boys. There are many places to hangout in our college as their are 3 to 4 cafeterias in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
