ABOUT MY COLLEGE

The courses start from basic , firstly the focus will be on grasping theory , my interest in mechanical engineering made me choose this course . the the curriculum is of 60% theroy exams and 40% of practicals and external viva and labs , which makes the overall course more interesting. course curriculum is fine as of now , i dont think there is a such need of improvements. midsems are about 1:30 hr and end sems are about 2.30 hr and the exam length fits in it and difficulty is usually moderate.

companies like orion , jaguar, google, L&T, mahindra , tata, maruti ,flipkart , amazon and accenture with stipend varying for different branches, from 20000-3L/month for all branches. projects are like related to coding or marketing , and management baesd mostly

The year wise fee i'll be paying is around 1.6L( including tution fee , mess fee, etc ) they are sub divided as tution fee -20833 per semister i.e; 41666/yr mess fee- 25000 / semister i.e; 50000/ yr cuation money is one time deposit in the 1st semister - 5000 hostel fee - 12000/sem user charges - 9000/ sem institute fee - 10000/sem

The 2 big events which are held in our college are #culrav and #avishkar whch are held in november and march respectively. other then that we have many events under student bodies like rangtaadi during dussehra, etc . we have a good ennough library where there are good amount of books related to the course and other stuff like , businesses and finance. class rooms have decent enough chairs and projector for ecah of them

the room has 4 beds , tables , 3 fans , and 4 electic plug sockets, and a balcony . mess food quality is quite good and the menu is made as such that the food doesnt look too north specific and boring and is quite eatable ,. every semister hostel registration is included in the semister exam registration the locality is quite bad and it will be dificult to locate a good room for our needs outside

I also applied for some state colleges and other NIT's , i also got confirmed admissions from NIT calicut , NIT rourkela etc ,firstly NIT is always more preferable than any state college and i wanted it to be near North and near cities like Delhi , Lucknow. Most importantly this collegehas good placements compared to other colleged which i was getting. college got first confirmed through CSAB after jee mains and then we had a online & physical registration process for verification of documents and then we got alloted the hostel room and ID cards

the faculty to student ratio is around 1:30 in the 1st sem might be improved in the upcoming sem the professors of professional communication and Maths ( soni, joseph) were very good and freindly in nature, i didnt like the chemistry faculties (P.K Dutta) . there are like 7-8 exams /sem , they are kind of moderate not too hard , 6% of students fail on avg , course is relevant

we have seperate gym for boys and girls timings : 6am-8am and 5pm -8pm daily library timings are 5am -10pm cafe 96, and devsis close around 10 pm daily hostel intime for girls and 1st yr boys is 10 pm . from 2nd yr there is not restriction for boys . famous hangout places are back garden of hostels , cafes and athletic ground.
