NIT Kurukshetra : What you should know

Overall curriculum is well, but a lot of improvements can be done in term of syllabus and teaching methods. it can have a more practical labs. Syllabus is same as of old it can be revise and can have new technolgies.

Internships are given in 6th semester which is now is in 8th semester as Intern + FTE compnies are also started visiting the campus from last year. And those who don't want to do intern they can take projects under there proff.

Yes, my college offers placements. A lot of companies visit to the campus every year including most of the top companies. the average package here is 8LPA and maximus is around 40 to 60 LPA. percentage of student placed is arround 80%

The total fee for 4 year B. Tech course in NIT is approx 7 to 8 Lakh or approx 1,11,500 for each semester. This fees include tution fee, hostel fee and other academic fees(excluding mess charges which are 35,000 per semester) For SC/ST/PwD/ income below 1 Lpa 100% fee waiver is there so the per semester fee will be around 16,000 for academic and hostel fee(excluding Mess fee which will have to pay 35,000). There are many types of scholarships are also given like PMS and state scholarship scheme and also have merit based scholarships are also given.

The overall experience of college life is really good as it have a really good, green and clean atmosphere. There are lot of clubs, societies and sports teams here where everyone can take part and learn new skills.

There are 10 hostels for boys and 3 to 4 hostel for girls, for boys in first year it is tripple seater and from second year onwards it's single seater. all hostels have LAN and wifi connectivity. Hostel food is okayies. No night canteen in hostel.

I want to study into National institute of technology. It is really a good college with good atmoshphere and a lot of learnings. From other college it have good placements and good living environment and for me it is close to my home town.

There are 8 semester for 4 year of course, there is one semester is for intern that is 6th semester now it is 8th semester which can be for intern + FTE placements. In each semester there are 2 mid sem 15 mearks of each and final sem will be of 50 marks and 10 marks for class performance and 10 marks for attendance. these rules may be changed you can check this put through the official website of NIT KKR

Nightlife is okay here, ther is lack of night canteen here students have to order food from outside. Hostel life is always good, but in girls hostel there is intiming which is 8.30 PM library is good you can issue book for every semester and a CCN Lab for desktop access. Gym is in sports comples.
