Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I'm interested to do high-paying jobs in such a demanding market field in computer science. Teacher faculties are well-behaved, polite, and kind. All teachers have a minimum required qualification of B. Tech, M. Tech, or Ph.D. The teaching method of most of the faculty is good, we can ask for doubts without any hesitation. Sessional tests are held every week and pre-university exams before the final exam.
Internships Opportunities
There are various companies offering satisfactory roles in internships like HireMee, CETPA, Creo, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, CDAC, etc. Projects like research & development, workshops, hackathons, and other coding-based projects had been conducted to polish the minds of students making them sharp in their skills.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are stable, it doesn't grow suddenly, meanwhile if fees get hiked, they get applied to the new student batches, and old batches remain unaffected. Scholarships can be availed from the National Scholarship Portal(NSP): scholarships.gov.in, or from the state-wise scholarship portals. Financially weak students can apply for educational loans and study comfortably here.
Campus Life
"Endeavour Unlimited" is the annual fest of DCTM. Apart from that, many tech fests and events keep happening occasionally. There are numerous books and journals in the library. The library has a huge collection of books to accommodate all the students. Classrooms are well-lit and spaced, with a total strength of about 60 students at a time. There is an annual sports week and also inter-college sports competition invitations from other colleges. Clubs for Hackathon, cultural events, and tech events are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
I live in the hostel. Each room has three beds and one toilet and bathroom is linked with every two rooms. Hostel food is sometimes satisfactory and sometimes unlikely unwell, probably the mess needs an improvement, otherwise it can be called an affordable hostel. Registration can be done either at the time of admission or later when required to live in the hostel.
Admission
Students who have 50% in 12th can apply for B.Tech, BCA, BBA, etc. You can visit the college website: dctm.edu.in There is 60 student capacity in every course. The eligibility criteria should be improved.
