Course Curriculum Overview

2

In my opinion couse curriculum is not updated and it is not helpful in real world application. For example - In my second semester I learned about microprocessor 8085 and in modern time it is not used

Placement Experience

1

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year total fees is 60,075 that includes : A) University fee at the time of admission (only one time ) - 10000 that includes Admission fee and registration fee - 3000 Alumni fund - 1000 Caution money (refundable) - 3000 Training and placement fee - 3000 B) University fee( to be paid yearly) Lab equipment - 5000 Equipment maintenance fee - 3000 Renovation fee -1000 Library fee - 2000 Accreditation fee - 1000 Continuation fee - 1000 Development fund - 800 Research promotion fund - 4575 Total - 25575 C) University fee ( half- yearly) Tuition fee - 8000 Exam fee - 1750 Total - 9750 D) Students fund charges( Yearly) Total cost of students fund charges that includes Red cross fee, medical fee, sport fund, youth welfare fund , benevolent fund scheme (Student aid fund, Group insurance scheme, Earn while learning scheme, Medical insurance), identity cum library card, NSS and NCC scheme, Student Amalgamated fund etc is 4980. After total of all this first year fee is 60,075 excluding hostel and mess fees. From second year A) University fee(at the time of admission ) is deducted from fee structure and also some other charges so net fees is 50,075 For third and fourth year fees is remain same with some deduction. If we talk about scholarship that is given in our university are- Merit cum scholarship ( top 10% students of respective branches) their tuition fee will be return. But returning of tuition fees is quite late procedure. PMS scholarship ( for obc,sc/st students). In my first year in first semester I paid 50,325 then in second semester I paid 9750 that includes tuition and examination fees . In second year in third semester I paid 40,325. For fourth semester I have not paid because I am currently completed my third semester. In my opinion fees are not increasing and it is one of the best affordable college for btech in haryana. So any middle class students can easily afford this college for btech degree.

Campus Life

3

College infrastructure is good. There is separate block for all departments and a library and reading room for students. In some classrooms smart board are present. In our college rhythm cultural fest is organised every year and nova tech fest is organised after 2-3 years. Sports facilities are also quite good

Hostel Facilities

2

In my hostel single seater and double seater both are present but only one student got singe seater who registration make quickly. Food quality is average. Fro hostel registration we have to visit University official site. From 3-4 from our college pg room is present

Admission

Based on my rank I applied for uiet kurukshetra apart from my college dcrust but due to affordable fee structure, ranking and reacheness to my house I chose dcrust, murthal. Yes I applied for ymca faridabad but that college rejected me because of my rank.

Faculty

4

Talking about faculty -to- students is good and teachers behave very politely with students. In my current semester I liked my Analog and electronics device teacher because she is very passionate for her teaching. Some faculties are quite rude. In my course in one year there are two minors each contain 15 marks. Total marks 100(50 theory paper + 50 lab/internal/external)

Night Life

4

My favourite hang out place is located my outside college that is 'Satish ka khokha' it is famous for petige and chai. Gym are open till 7 pm. Hostel is open for 24 hours for boys but for girls in winter time it is 6 pm. Library is open till 7 pm

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are decent but not extremely high like top engineering institutes. College has a placement cell that workds to connect student swith companies and prepeare them for the recruitment process. They orgarnize activities such as resume-building workshopsm aptituted training, mock interviews, soft-skills sessions to help students become more confidebt before palcements. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of B.tech program. During this time, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives and placement interviews. before that student are encouraged to complete internships and improve their technical skills so they better prepared when placement season starts. some of the companies that have visited the campus in recent years include companies from the IT and service sector such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and a few smaller software and startup companies. These companies mainly hire students for roles like software developer, system engineer, technical support engineer, and trainee engineer. the highest package offered in recent year has been around 6-8 LPA, usually offered by a good tech company or startup. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. while the package are not extremely high, they still provide a good starting point for fresh graduates entering the IT industry. In terms of placement percentage around 30-40% of students who actively participate in placements manag to get placed through campus drives. some students also prefer to apply for jobs off-campus which can sometimes lead to better oppportunities depending on their skills and projects.

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .
