Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

I liked academic studies, college environment and appreciate the overall beauty of college and its location is quiet
Also I like the easy to access things such as library or cafeteria
Fests and weather and the overall environment of the college

Dislikes

Faculty wise not satisfying as we have to constantly demand fair checking for passing marks
Too much interior location like it is located in outskirts
No specific night canteen also and high prices

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for college placement process and various companies visit the campus for process for internships or full time recruitment role. Around 200 companies have visited the campus in this placement season and many more are expected to visiti till April end month. Highest package was offered by Meesho which was 28LPA and other big tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft offer around 45LPA. Roles were SDE and AI ML engineer. Around 85% students have been placed in some branches and highest placement was recorded in CS branch I plan to get placement after the degree and normal corporate job.

Nit kkr: one of the best nit in North India

Likes

The overall infrastructure of college is very good.
Curriculum is updated according to industry needs.
Amazing sports and extracurricular facilities.

Dislikes

75% attendence criteria is must for sitting in exams.
Mess food quality is that good also cleanliness in hotels.
Placements are declining every year as compared to other nits.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students still for placements. Almost all major recruiters visit our campus like amazon, google, meesho, flipkart, JP Morgan , de shaw, wells Fargo, accenture, ibm, hsbc, nab, ey, amdocs, United airlines, sap labs, icici bank, tata , samsung, infosys, etc. almost 80-85% batch got placed in 2025 with avg. Package of 13-14 lpa. Highest package was 60-65 lpa approx. I want to pursue software job after my btech.

Nit Market is such a good place i like it very much
Sports complex is a place i find peace i go there usually
Nit kurukshetra infrastructure is very good

Dislikes

Sometimes in rainy season there is flood everywhere

Placement is a quite good of our college. Many companies visited during the placements like microsoft, google, Salesforce Accenture HCL technologies and all . The college avg package is around 12,00000

NIT Kurukshetra - An Institute of National Importance

Likes

Supportive seniors and friendly environment for students.
Library facilities is available for students 24/7.
College is working very hard to strengthen it's alumni network.

Dislikes

Sometimes the quality of food is sacrificed in the mess.
The schedule at the NIT Kurukshetra is very stressful, there is very less gaps between two consecutive papers and students have to work very hard for themselves.
Also, some labs have very outdated computers.

Placement Experience:

The college offers internships to the students from 3rd year onwards and students become eligible for the placements from the 4th year of college. The companies that visited this time to our college were Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, nab, swiggy and many more. I am planning to target the on campus placement.

Good Environment in college Greenery in college lush green campus
Liked sports culture in college and the citius tournament
Library is very good to study peaceful environment

Dislikes

Network issue in college neither sim data works in night
Lan connection is also poor almost disconnected every week
Lab work may be reduced (more writting work)

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the placement rounds A lot of companies visit our college Highest package in 2024-25 session is 63.12LPA and average package for the college is 13.21LPA and median package is 10 LPA Placements are 85.90 percent students are placed out of elegible students for placements I would be like to work in govt sector or private companies

major aspect which everyone like is that our college provide ample placement opportunities
classes also are well furnished with some teachers explaining each concept in detail
labs are equipped with latest computers for better learning

Dislikes

fees is too much for general category could be reduced.
sports facilities are less could be increased .
hostel mess should not be given on rent should be handled by government

from 7th semester placements start in our college . highest previous year was 60lpa and average of around 17.6 lpa around 85% of cse got placed till date and expected is there would be 100% placement for students . ample opportunity given to students to get placed

NIT Kurukshetra : What you should know

Likes

Campus is really beautiful, clean and green
There are no of clubs, for interest and personal growth
Seniors are very supportive and friendly

Dislikes

There is no night canteen in hostels and in campus
There is strict timing for girls hostels that is 8.30 PM
For non veggiterian, there is only veg mess

Placement Experience:

Yes, my college offers placements. A lot of companies visit to the campus every year including most of the top companies. the average package here is 8LPA and maximus is around 40 to 60 LPA. percentage of student placed is arround 80%

Sports facilities are very good for all who is interested
6 km from railway station easy traveling from home town to nit kkr

Dislikes

Academically very difficult as compared to class 12th in school
Poor network no or very less signals in mobile phones

I dont know much about this but- Placements stats for all the branches are very hood except civil( 60 to 75 %l which is somewhere better than any local college There is not much for civil engineers in private so gov jobs may be the good option

Likes

College students are too Good. They are passionate
Seniors are friendly and helpful in short they are great
Campus is full of plants and trees overall greenness is good

Dislikes

Buildings are old they need to be repaired
Hostel should be repaired and should be cleaned
Mess food should be improved in some hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good and they teach relevant topics and lab is good and lab assistant are also trained somewhat. Teachers take efforts to make notes and ppt to teach students and they also help for preparation of semester exam
