Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

College timing is 8:30 which is not good

course Curriculum is both subjective and also lab and experiment and project and internship there are credits of attending and doing internship and there are many courses which can be pursued by attending.

Reality of NIT kurukshetra

Likes

College campus is wide and there is greenery in college and environment is good
Seniors of institute is very nice and they are very cooperative
It has good placement record especially for CSE, IT, ECE

Dislikes

The conditions of hostels is not very good
Some departments have less research facilities
The ratio of boys and girls is also not good

Placement Experience:

The placement of nit kurukshetra is very good but it come little down in recent time. From 6 sem you are eligible for campus placement. There are various companies visited here like Microsoft, google, JP Morgen, Amazon etc the number pf offers are 604 . The highest package is about 64.80lakh and average package is 9 lakh overall for all bremch. The percentage pf student getting placed is 75 percent. My plan is to doing MBA in fiance after graduation.

Lush green campus filled with variety of trees and plants
The campus is well maintained by the workers
The security is tight and there are guards sitting everywhere

Dislikes

There are no good places to eat inside the college
There were several shops but they all got closed in recent times I don't know why
The professors are good but in first year we are assigned with TA's not the actual professor

For the curriculum i would say that it's designed fine and covers all major aspects of engineering Till now we are studying maths physics and chemistry as main subject and other additional subject including financial education commerce , engineering graphics engineering practice etc

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

Likes

The campus has amstudent community with a numerous clubs and societies for technical, cultural and sport activities.
The placement cell is highly active ,ensuring that a majority of students secure job in reputed companies.
Campus provide numerous scholarships to those students who belongs to financially weak background.

Dislikes

In our class of 70 students there are 12 girls on 58 boys . Ratio is very unbalanced.
Some teachers are very knowledgeable and very well experienced but some lack of effective teaching methods ,making difficult to grab concepts.
The syllabus is sometimes not fully aligned with industry trends and students need to rely on chatgpt(ai tools ) or youtube lectures.

Placement Experience:

Students become elgible for placements after their 7th semester, though many companies also offer internships in the 6th semester that later convert into full time roles. Every year, more than 100 reputed companies visited the campus. Some of the top recruiters include Amazon ,Microsoft ,Google, Adobe, Samsung, Oracle, Infosys. Highest package goes around 50-60 lacs but average depends on branch. For CSE and IT , the average package is around 12-15 lacs , for ECE it is 8-10 lacs and for mechanical,civil it varies from 5 to 10 lacs . The placement percentage is highest for CSE and IT(95%) and other core branches have placement percentage of 60-80 percent.

A Brief look towards NIT Kurukshetra bh

Likes

The maintainance of hostels is very well maintained.
Security is very well maintained as security guards are present at many places inside institute.
The place is quiet and wonderful for a safe learning environment.

Dislikes

Projects for students are rarely done for their internships.
So much strictness is not present. Teachers are responsible.
Network facilities are not good as lan is not working for most of time.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are worth it. Students work hard for there placements and companies are also coming in the college. Technical domain companies prefer to come more in number as students find a strong interest in coding . Tech placements are also good.

Likes

The environment of the college is very good
Seniors behaviour is also good and their nature is also supporting
Professor of the college are very intelligent

Dislikes

Boys girls ratio is less as compared to other colleges
Proper canteen is not available in nit kurukshetra
Proper coach in sports ground is not available

Placement Experience:

As our senior told us that In our college pre placement takes place which could be started from 6th semester which is a quite good thing. Samsung, apple, Infosys etc. visit for offering the placements to the students

Alot of companies visited including honda , samsung, adobe, united airlins, microsoft, yamaha, linkedin , probo, maq software, intuit and many more. About 80-90 percent of the students are getting placed easily with good package. I also want to get a good package from the college. Recently highest package was of 50 LPA .

My college story

Likes

I liked my campus because it is green everywhere and spending time with friends is the most happiest things to do.
Social interaction in college is awesome there is lots of society and clubs where you can join and interact with senior and also enhances your skills and there are lots of things to explore in college
Quality of infrastructure is good but the building is too old and there is no development comes after nany year recently there is one building is made.

Dislikes

Some professor are good here but some are not they are egoistic type not giving the marks as you expect in exam and giving lower grades in exam and also some are not good in teaching as well as in taking lecture.
I personally don't like labs writing wors here because in lab writing is Major portion and you have to write the lab file and make the waveform and graph which is a very headache things
I really missed home food because sometimes in mess the food is not good in taste and we have to eat from outside

Placement Experience:

In our college the students become eligible after 3 year and there are lots of company visited in our campus such as Microsoft, Google, NVIDIA, and other top tech and core companies. In every there is highest package around 50LPA and average 10LPA and it differ branch to branch,in every branch 60 to 70 percentage get placed easily. There is also off campus placement which is totally upon skills,my plane after getting degree is of place in core company as i am from core branch.

NITKKR College review

I enjoy fests in my college there are 2 mega events in my college that are Techspradha and Confluence. Techspradha is technical event and confluence is the cultural fest. These both are very enjoyable
The campus of NIT Kurukshetra is very beautiful, whole college is lush green and very environment friendly
There are many clubs and societies in this college and I’m in photography club and startup society which helps me to learn many things

Dislikes

There is no night canteen in the college by which students are not able to have meal aat late night
The environment of outside of the campus is not so good
Mess food is also not so good in hostel no.10 because it is mega hostel but in other hostels the mess food is very good

College curriculum is very good in this college, this curriculum help me to prepare for the real world applications or further academic pursuits as the teachers give assignments that are real life based There are 3 time exams which are 2 mid sems and 1 end sem. Frequency and timing of exams is nice According to industries environment our college is updated regularly

Nit Kurukshetra college review

Likes

I enjoyed a lot of things here i have civil branch and my practicals are so interesting
Every year there are mainly big two events techsparda and confluence
Also TedX held in our college every year in which many people come and guide us

Dislikes

Boys to girls ratio is very low . There is only 1 girl on 6 boys
Night canteen is not there in hostels and outside area not so good .
Mess food is not good at all and also nature is okok

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good in college. Many companies like google l and t visits college for college. Around 50% of students get Placement every year. My plan after degree is to take oncampus placement highest pacakge is around 50 lakh and average package isnaround 15 lakhs

Life at NIT Kurukshetra
