In nit kurukshetra the overall basic tution fees of b.tech is 6 to 7 lakh (not including hostel fees).If we included hostels,then fees of hostel will be 40000 per semester means about 8-9 lakh total fees.There will be fee weavier according to their parent income if your parent income is less than 1 lakh then your tution fee will be zero.If your parent income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then your tution fee will be reduce by 66 percent.no tution fee weavier for those whose parent income is greater than 5 lakh. Also if you are a sc/st candidate then also your tution fee will be zero.There is no fee weavier in hostel fee, you have to pay whole hostel fee without getting any discount

College fee is around 67k and you can take benefit of income certificate here they provide some relaxation on your yearly income certificate . Mess fee is high it's around 34k and they only provide veg and they also provide scholarship for sc st, and some topper

- Non veg foods are strictly prohibitated .and in the mess only veg is available
- The exam happens is very conceptual and not like others

There are so many scholarship for sc/st and also was and obc students and also you get a scholarship to when you are topper of your branch .there is no campus employment there is fee recession for different income patterns like if you have income more than 1 lakh and less than 5 lakh you only have to pay 1/3 of the fee and if you have income less than 1 lakh then you don't have to pay the tuition fee

- Friends and seniors are so good . They help a lot.
- Ragging free environment is there. Friendly environment is there.

- Mess food is not so good. Can be improved .
- Electricity power supply cut down some time.

Fee criteria for different different categories are different. As I am a sc student I have to pay 16 to 17 thousand for a semester. And 70 to 75 thousand for a general category students. Mess fees is not included in this.

Tution fees varies as per candidates category (general ,obc, sc ,st, ews).Complete cost for eductaion including tution fees,mess and hostel fees is nearly about 2.18 lakh for a year.For finacial support students can apply for loans ,a sbi bank branch is inside the campus.Students with weak financial background are given fees wavier on providing income certificate.

- The campus is very neat and clean.there is proper management of the gardens and plants.The campus is large enough.The campus is very green also
- The ground is big enough and there are a lot of sports you can play and proper management of the ground.
Dislikes
- The results are often very late. Our second sem is about to end but still we didn't get our first sem results. The evaluation process is very slow.
- There are a lot of dogs that enter the hostel and.

Sc , st and PWD students are full fee waiver. They don't have to pay tuition fees.obs and general candidate with income less than 1 lakh also 100 percent tuition fees waiver. Obs and general students with annual income less than 5 lakh get 30 percentage waivership.

There are different fee structures for the different categories. For the general category, the fee is nearly 75 thousand rupees in a semester. There are different state and caste-based scholarships available.

I am from Madhya pradesh , so Madhya pradesh medhavi chatra yojna is a scholarship program by the government of MP, Which give full four year fees of the student and also there are various cultural clubs which enhances one personality and also college has very reputed societies also.

- It was a good experience at NIT kurukhetra.
- Friends are everything. Sports and games are best thing here.
Dislikes
- College couples. Hostel food and hotel bathrooms.
- Gym has very less equipment available In it.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition is not too much. But hotel fees is too much for me. Complete cost is around 4-5 lakhs for btech. FFE is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply. I have taken no campus employment.

The few structure for the btech in this nit is as 76000 per semester which includes tution fees, library,or some other charges.you can take loan for financial assistance and also you can get scholarship after verification.
