NIT Kurukshetra admission to UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in 20 departments is offered on the basis of national-level entrance exams. Among all programs, B.Tech is considered the flagship course offered at NIT Kurukshetra. Admission to the NIT Kurukshetra BTech program is done via JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA counseling. NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech Admission 2024
The institute offers 4-year B.Tech degree courses in seven engineering streams. For admission into B. Tech, applicants must have a valid score in JEE Main. However, the final seat is allotted during the JoSAA Counselling.

NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- For NIT Kurukshetra admission in B.Tech, candidates must have at least 75% marks in 10+2 examination or be in the top 20% of the respective board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject, are eligible to apply. SC/ST category candidates, the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
- Candidates will have to qualify JEE Main.
- Reservation of seats is done in accordance with the rules laid down by the Government of India.
NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech. Selection Criteria
Considering the 12th exam results and the score of JEE Main, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing All India Rank (AIR) of candidates.
To participate in the NIT Kurukshetra admission process, candidates have to register for counselling online at the official JoSSA website. Choice filling and locking is mandatory and it is to be done by the candidate only. In a decreasing order of preference, branch choices are to be filled. Based on the cut off set by NIT Kurukshetra, seats will be allocated in each round of counselling.
NIT Kurukshetra BTech 2024: How to Apply?
NIT BTech admissions are based on JEE Main score. The institute conducts JoSAA counselling for BTech admission. The step wise application process is given below:
Step1: To apply for JEE Main, aspirants need to visit, @jeemain.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Read the instructions and information form. JEE Main will be conducted two times (Session-1 and Session-2).
Step 3: Fill out the application form by providing the necessary details and take a printout for further reference. The fees for JEE Main 2024 registration is INR 1000 for the Male candidates. The fees for female candidates is INR 800 while SC/ST/PwD category candidates need to pay INR 500.

- Infrastructure is good having a sports ground, inter nit events facilities, swimming pool, badminton court, cricket court also many others
- Placement is very good for the BTech, there are lots of opportunities for the BTech cs it ece students, lot of company for them
Dislikes
- Unrelevent subjects like discreet mathematics, microprocessor, organisation behaviour, fundamental of management, these subjects just wastes of time, not help in carrier as a software engineer,
- Many exams: like two mst and one final exam that is push us for the theoretical work less practical, no forces on coding in lab only just do something which. You like in lab, only one or two lab in week which. Should be daily
Admission:
This is near to my home town, also the food quality is good here , this is the spiritual place which gives us calm and stressless feel, Many historical places is here to visit Yah if I got the good rank more than this then I will go for surat kal but no it's good to have kurukshetra this is really very nice place, Very near to Himachal and delhi is also nearest for Shopping, many tourists like dehradun, manali, mussoorie, kasol all is very near to me There is exam nimcet under 800 rank only appear for the any nit there are only 8 nit where you can take addmission, so I got nit kurukshetra at rank of 378 from general category

choosing nit kkr can be a great dicision depending on your priorities and goals, as it ranked among top nits .compare to nit surathkal nit kkr offers comparable quality in specific streams like elctrical and mechanical engineering

i applied for nit for better education and placements and for eg: vnit , nit warangal ;nit jalandar etc . i got rejected from vnit due lack of enough percentile in jee examination ; students cutoff must be 95-100 for oc or general st or sc for 90-100

- Campus is very beautiful having grounds parks pond making the campus having positive vibes around
- Teachers are very much supportive to the student . You can work under any teacher for your project..
Dislikes
- Hostels are not clean . But its ok regular cleaning is done by the sweepers.
- College does not have a good canteen . And market is closes soon .
Admission:
This college is under 10 ranking in the NITies in india . This college is very best than the colleges which is around our college having good placement numbers . Not only numbers but the average of the packages is also very good.you should score more than 75% in your board exams of 12 and should cor the exam of jee mains

- College environment is good, there are good parks and infrastructure built. One can study in good environment and libraries and reading rooms.
- No non veg in mess as college is in divine city( kurukshetra) no non veg in or near the college areas

- Less faculty, classes get clashed of teachers due to lack of teachers.
- Hostel internet, remains down for the most of time as no wifi is there only lan connection is there which restricts most of sites even the sites from which student studies.
Admission:
At the time i joined college was among to p5 nits and this was the 5th , other four were in south and i dont want to go in south so this was the best option based on my rank in north on the basis of jee mains and near to my home, i can travel to my home on weekends if needed easily.

- No nonveg food is allowed inside the campus.

I opted this college because I wanted to pursue computer science. As well as placemets are also quite good of the college.keeping this in mind as well as proximity to my native place.I opted the college.

In Jossa I filled Nit Hamirpur and nit Delhi apart from nit kurukshetra. I got admission from Kurukshetra as it was my top priority. It had better stats than others and people recommended it. Admission is done through jee mains. I had 99 percentile and obc ncl and got IT branch in nit Kurukshetra in first round itself

- IN TIMINGS FOR GIRLS IS 8:30 PM WHILE THERE ARE NO IN TIMINGS FOR BOYS
- INFRASTRUCTURE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER ALTHOUGH THE COLLEGE IS WORKING ON IT RIGHT NOW.

the course available here was new and innovative it will surely be in high demand in the future thats the reason i chose this college. campus life and hostel life is great here also there are many cultural activities here on a large scale admission process is entirely based on your jee rank and councelling process is through josaa councelling

NIT Kurukshetra offers a full time MBA of 2 years duration. NIT Kurukshetra admission in MBA is based on CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score. A total of 53 seats are available in NIT Kurukshetra MBA, out of which 21 belong to the General category candidates. To be eligible for MBA at NIT Kurukshetra, a candidate should have passed Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates 45% are required). Candidates should have cleared CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT Exam. Taking into account the marks scored in Graduation and the scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT, candidates are shortlisted for GD and PI. The institute prepares a merit list which contains the names of selected candidates based on the entrance exam score and performance in GD & PI. Weightage of 70 marks is assigned to the entrance exam score and 30 marks are for the performance in GD/PI.
It may not be possible for you to get direct admission to any of the course in NIT Kurukshetra. NIT Kurukshetra is a prominent institute in India and the number of applicants are much higher than the number of seats every year. This increases the competition.
