Ques. Is there any refund policy at NIT Kurukshetra after taking admission?
Ans. NIT Kurukshetra has a refund policy if the particular candidate wants to cancel their admission. The amount you get back depends on how many days you wait before withdrawing:
- Within 3 days: Only INR 1,000 will be deducted.
- 4 to 12 days: INR 3,000 will be deducted.
- 13 to 30 days: INR 7,500 will be deducted.
- After 30 days: Candidates will only get back the security deposit (Library & Institute fees).
For B.Tech. students, the refund rules might be different, so you should check the official NIT Kurukshetra website.

NIT Kurukshetra offers a full time MBA of 2 years duration. NIT Kurukshetra admission in MBA is based on CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score. A total of 53 seats are available in NIT Kurukshetra MBA, out of which 21 belong to the General category candidates. To be eligible for MBA at NIT Kurukshetra, a candidate should have passed Graduation in any stream with minimum 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates 45% are required). Candidates should have cleared CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT Exam. Taking into account the marks scored in Graduation and the scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT, candidates are shortlisted for GD and PI. The institute prepares a merit list which contains the names of selected candidates based on the entrance exam score and performance in GD & PI. Weightage of 70 marks is assigned to the entrance exam score and 30 marks are for the performance in GD/PI.
