Our per sem fee is 80,000 if your family income is greater than 5 lakh and if we have 1-5 lakh income than you get 67,5 fee waiver and less than 1 folks get whole fee waiver . Moreover our alumni provide different financial assistance and scholarships to need students

- The very first thing I liked about my campus was its lush green campus
- The next thing was the culture in clubs and societies which was very good.
Dislikes
- The internet issue in the H10 hostel, they should provide lan in this hostel too.
- Mess food is also not good in the H10 hostel.

The fees don't hike easily like there is no policy to hike the fees progressively. The semester fees is around 84000, and there is a fee waiver policy as well. Anyone having a valid income certificate, with income <1lpa can awail 100% tuition fee waiver, with income ranging between 1-5 lpa can awail 67% of the waiver in tuition fees. All the SC/ST and PWD candidates don't need to pay tuition fees.

- In College, some faculty is very rod.students also got suside due to this rod faculty.

Fee structure of NITs have been revised by MHRD. It’s definitely going to cost more than 5LPA now. It’s almost double than the previous fee structure. We use to pay 26000 per semester now its about 50k per sem excluding hostel expense. Check website of NIT, you are going to apply for. They display their fee structure online. If the family annual income is less than you can apply for students loan and also there are several scholarship programs which are run via so many NGOs and govt itself. Inquire admin office info regarding scholarship programs.

Many students can get scholarship in the college. If you are here using reservation your fee will already be very less. If you are from general category, and among the top 3 students in your branch then also you'll get financial aid.

the course fees are high and many students have to take a loan for their studies but since it is a prestigious institution the loans are easily available. the no. of scholarships provided by the institute is very low.

I am not aware of the fee hike policy but there is financial assistance for economically weaker students and scheduled cast or PWD students. I got financial assistance and my tuition fee is zero based on a family income of less than 1 lakh.

Which is better, NIT Kurukshetra IT or NIT Jamshedpur CS?
NIT Jamshedpur CS is better than NIT Kurukshetra IT. It offers better placement opportunities to students. According to the highlights of NIT Jamshedpur placements 2022, students of CSE received the highest CTC of around INR 37.50 LPA. Amazon, Deloitte, Tata Group are some of the major recruiters that frequently visit the campus placements.
What should I choose between NIT Kurukshetra IT or NIT Delhi CSE?
NIT Kurukshetra IT is a much better choice than NIT Delhi CSE. IT is in fact a much better branch these days considering the syllabus of both branches.

\Which is better, IT at NIT Kurukshetra or CSE at PEC Chandigarh?
One of my cousins was in a similar dilemma last year when she had to choose between PEC and NIT Kurukshetra. Both the colleges are premier engineering colleges offering excellent education and are head-to-head in most factors. However, you may want to consider the following points before making the final decision
- In terms of placements and the faculty pool, PEC fares better than NIT Kurukshetra.
- Established in 1928, PEC has a richer legacy than NIT Kurukshetra which was established around 1963.
- NIT Kurukshetra has a bigger and more beautiful campus than PEC.
- NIT Kurukshetra offers the much coveted NIT tag which PEC does not.
The final decision depends on personal factors like location and future prospects. If you are from Chandigarh choosing PEC will be better.
