NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Mathematics And Computing: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

For B.Tech at NIT Jalandhar the annual fee structure varies by category SC/ST/PWD and general/OBC Students with family income below 1,00,000 pay no tution free institutional charges around 51,000 to 56,000 yearly four hostelers covering registration exam development hostel medical alumni and other compulsory fees. Day scholars pay about 34000-39000. General/OBC students with 1 to lahk income pay 41600 tution plus these charges , totaling about 97000. those Above 5,00,000 pay 1,25,000 tuition with a total near 1,81,000 yearly fees includes one time security deposit and bus facility charges if opted Scholarships like merit come need and category based tuition waivers are available loans are sanctioned for eligible students the fee has remained mostly stable revisable only by official notification. Batchmates in different categories pay according to their tuition waiver eligibility and family income slabs.

for students. belonging to gen /obc/ category with an annual family income of 5 lakh and above,the tuition fee is 62500 per sem ,while other charges amt to approx 30,500 for odd sem and 25,000 for even sem .In the first sem ,an additional refunndable caution money of 5k is charged.On avg,the total. fee for one year is around 1.8 lakh+50 k mess money per year. Students whose family income lies bw 1 lakh and 5 lakh pay a reduced tuition fee of 20840 per sem and those with income below 1 lakh as well as SC ST and PWd students are exempted from paying tuition fees and only pay the remaining institute charges of about 56k per year .NITJ also offers various scholorships . The institut merit cum means scholorship is for students whose family income is below 4.5 lakh and a cgpa of above 7.0 offering 10 k-20 k per year. Additionally, national level scholorships such as the Central Sector Scholorhips ,post matric scholorhships for SC/ST/OBC students are there. Overall the cost of doing btech at nit j for a general catgory student who is a hosteller is approx 7.2 lakh .

Total fees for my 1year here is 2.41 lakhs It includes tution fees, mess fees, caution money and other charges It's 25000 fees per semester of college 62500 tution fees per semester And 10000 of mess caution money

The yearly tuition fees for B.Tech program is around Rs. 1,20,000.The yearly hostel fees is around Rs. 50,000. These are inclusive ofcaution fees , registration fees , admission fees etc. Our college provides various scholarship oppurtunities for underpreviliged students such as students of lower castes, and students which do not have a very good financial status

The year wise fee structure of our college's btech programme can be classified based on category and income range of whole family firstly for SC(scheduled castes /ST Scheduled Tribes) they are completely exempted from ? 62000 tution fee per semester rest other extra fees like caution money , admission fee(2000) , Library fee(?2000 per semester) , internet handling (?5000per year ) ,hostel fee(seat rent:12000 per year ) ,mess :50000 per year has to be paid by them Now coming to other categories like OBC/ -NCL whos family's income range above 5 lakh per annum and GENERAL /OPEN (whose family income range above 5 lakh per annum) are expected to pay total 100% of the fee 180000 per year including hostel,mess facilities Now the OBC-NCL and GENERAL category whose income is between 1 to 5 lakh are to pay 1/3 of 62000 ?20831 per semester while the remaining fees like extra(internet, Library,etc,. are same as mentioned above ),Mess ,hostel fees are to be paid commonly for hostellers Total fee structure of GENERAL/OBC-NCL for (INCOME >5LAKH) is 1,81,000 for BTECH 1ST YEAR) and 1,76,000 per year next subsequent years Total fee structure for GENERAL/OBC-NCL for (INCOME BETWEEN 1TO 5LAKH). is 1,40,000 for first year and 1,35,000 for subsequent years Total fee structure for SC/ST is :1,05,000 for 1St year and 1,00,000 for next subsequent years in ANY BTECH PROGRAMME Coming to the scholarship matter institute students are sponsored by many private and public scholarship channel or corporations like NSP,FFE,ONGC, RELIANCE JIO,ADANI GIRLS SCHOLARSHIP etc., in NSP scholarship OBC candidates can expect a scholarship amount of 75000 per year in his/her btech education Our NITJ Institute also provides Merit based badges list in each stream in btech short listed toppers are awarded with distinction certificate and 15000 cash prize once in a year

In our college we have btech,msc,mtech students in which btech 1st year students will have caution fees and registration and Xerox and paper for mess fees and institute fees which will be increased by year by year which institute fees will be 1100000 per year for every year student.And mess fees will be 55000 per year which it will provide hostel for students in which we have opportunity to select roommate and room. Here the institute fees for students will be based on caste and income certificate.And will we get scholarship based on castewhich I get national scholarship and bc will get fee. Yearly we get 800000. And income shou6be less than 500000.

Tuition fee isn't as increasing as in other private colleges. There is a fix price and which is same for all years of students. The completion cost of a degree varies with students with Quotas, for some it's almost 6-8 Lakhs but on the other hand it's almost 2-3 Lakhs for some students whereas less than a Lakh for some students too. Although college provides scholarships and other financial aid for the students to cover up the fees for the studies. Campus employment is also quite good as students are also rewarded in some fields like NSS and NCC with either money or some other aid that helps them a lot in the college.
