First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

In terms of placement our college nit Jalandhar stands in a good position the average is about 18 lpa for cse department and it provides equal opportunity for all other branches and placement team is also very helpful.

The life at NITJ- Pros and Cons

Likes

A great social life, regular events and fests.
Good coding environment , startup enthusiasm

Dislikes

People are self oriented and kind of selfish
75 percentage attendence criteria is too bad
Passing the exams is hard as faculty set tough papers

You can be eligible for campus placements from 6th semester and internship opportunities arrive after 4th semester. More than 200+ companies visit for campus placements. Few get multiple offers highest package was 63lpa and average 10 lpa.

Nice college

Likes

Clubs are very good ,campus life is so good
Hostel are goods and all staff are supporting
Campus is almost zero free ragging ,there is no ragging

Dislikes

Class is so much there is almost 6to z hours class
Attendence of 75 percentage criteria is not good
There is more opportunities for coding not core subject

Placement is decent and it's depend on yearwise and branch wise like CSE and ECE have good opportunity to take high placement Yes percentage of placement also depend on branch but in my branch have decent opportunities to take placement

Life at NIT Jalandhar

Likes

I love the coding culture of Nitj.There are a number of hackathons which takes place here.
The greenery of the campus is very soothing sometimes.Different varieties of birds and peacocks are found here.
The food provided here is the best thing.

Dislikes

We need to bring awareness among students to maintain cleanliness of campus
Library should be opened for all days and for 24 hr.
There is a in time for girls at 10 pm but no in time for boys

Placement Experience:

Nitj provides descend placements. Both on-campus placements and internships take place. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and many more visit here. Every year the highest package offered here is around 1 crore. 90 percent of students are placed from nitj.

The campus of college is good The students are eligible for placements in 7th semester Manu companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung and many more The highest package offered by Samsung is 1.2 crore 70 -80 per cent students

Amazing campus life experince with a lot of greenery in campus
Amazing sports fests organized by college

More number of classes should be there. As there are many batches from 2023
Faculties could be increased in nimber as 2 batches are included in many classes

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in the 4th semester itself. Big companies like Samsung Microsoft, and adobe visit the campus and hire students. The highest placement is 1,24,00,000 in the year 2021. In 2022 highest package is 54,00,000

Overall a decent college for setting up your life.

Likes

The new infrastructure that is now made.
Th activites of various clubs for recreation.
The large size of the campus which is applaudable.

Dislikes

The difficulty level of the exams which come.
A lot of burden of assignments and practical files.
Old infrastructure of the hostel buildings.

The placements are very good from the past years. The maximum package was 78 cr last year and the average package of the computer science branch was 28 lpa whereas that of our branch was 19 lpa which is. A pretty decent package.

Campus life clubs fest people around …..
The coding culture is very goood in college and gaming culture is very good
People are present here from every part of India

Dislikes

Teaching criterion and academic pressure is a lot
After clearing jee no one wants to study
Bad hostels very bad for the freshers…..

As the institute comes under Institute of national importance the placement are not a issue here as in it feilds avg package is 16lpa and in bio tech people prefer further studies abroad in the USA ..

I like the campus environmental its is quite vibrant and good every time there is something happen here.
Clubs and the support of seniors are quite great
No ragging and vulgarity promoted in collages

Dislikes

Too much study pressure those who opt for clubs don't get enough time because of this
Don't like the the way teachers act toward student.

I chose this field because of the growing sector in this field and future opportunities for jobs in India, as we know that India is a developing country and still being developed especially in the infrastructure sector, so the field of civil engineering is quite promising in Future

I like the institute department buildings the infrastructure
I like the clubs and events at my college
Institute faculties are also well qualified

Dislikes

The internet services at my college is very poor
Hostel rooms of college are not up to Mark
There is very less interaction with our seniors in 1st year due to anti ragging

College is good there is an average of 13.5 lpa offered by companies in our college in the percentage of student getting placed in IT branch is also of 90% the highest package is about 54 lakh offered by Microsoft and it is offer to as a post office

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
