First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

It’s good

Likes

I like the faculties and the way of teaching .
I like the play ground which is very clean and there are so many other courts like badminton
I like campus buildings they are very neat and clean

Dislikes

I dislike the hostel mess food and the hostel attenders
I dislike the campus canteen the things are so expensive
I dislike the students who did not go to classes daily

Many big companies visit the college for campus placements like BPCL, Deloitte, Paytm, Samsung, Oracle, Amazon, Infosys, Axis Bank, Accenture, Qualcomm, Mediatek, Adobe, Flipkart , MG, Byjus, etc. and many other companies.Students can also apply off-campus.

NITJ Expectation vs Reality

Likes

Some teachers who are eager to help you in any case and obviously the night life of hostels.
Placement is decent not so worry about that
Infrastructure is developing not yet completed but still good

Dislikes

Many teachers just come to complete syllabus
No facilities to teach you about particular sports
Campus is very small so sometimes it irritates

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B. Tech in CSE is my dream field and of course, it gives the highest package among all other branches. The ratio of faculty: to students is good. The exams happen timely and it is not much tough to pass these exams.

In my opinion it's good. I am enjoying. Socialising with people again
Social culture between students of different parts of India

Dislikes

Workload is too much as for freshers assignments exams
Timing of hostel for freshers is limited

Our college is amongst the top 50 colleges in India so lots of companies visit our college after every academic year. Most of the students get placed at decent packages. some students grab good packages in many companies

Cons and prons of nitj

Likes

Infrastructure is good and building are facilitate
Campus is about 154 achs and lush green Campus
Placement facility is very good anf faculty is also nice

Dislikes

Internship facilities are not to good but only above averge can get intership
Campus syllabus is quite complex and complicated
Hostels are outdated and old . Need proper maintenance

Placement Experience:

Placement of nitj is pretty good. From 4th year is eligible for campus placement. But bright students can take internships during 2nd year. In my branch, almost 100percent placement is there. With a good amount of package.

clubs are really active and helpful and seniors are really good at guidance , and we have opportunity to learn so many new things
there is no ragging in our college , the college teachers are very helpful at explaining the doubts .

Dislikes

the college is very far from the city , the location is very at the outskirts of the city
the campus is really small as compared to other private colleges too , the area is really less

Placement Experience:

placements procedures starts from 7th semester , but the intership may start from 4th to 6th semester , the students are then eligible for placements , The companies which are invited by out campus are AMAZON , GOOGLE , MICROSOFT , PHYSICS WALLAH , FLIPKART , PAYTM and a lot more . average placement of chemical branch is 14 lpa and the highest was around 42 lpa and the approximately 89 to 95 % of students get placed in our branch .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are quite good for CS / it and circuital braches and decent for non-circuital bracnh. Overall placement is quite good as it is a top 10 nit. average placement is 1250000 with very good companies approaching the college every year.

From the 7th semester, you can sit for campus placement. Many companies visit the college due to its tag of NIT but they later realize that the placement cell of this college is shit (we have also been blacklisted by some companies). The placement scenario is purely luck-based on campus.

The Campus and the freedom to roam around,
The AC classrooms are quite nice for someone to take 2h nap 😴
The cleanliness, hygiene that is a plus point.

The facilities and their behaviour while interacting with the students
Sometimes strictness get imposed on us for whatever reason

It's the course which has a diverse application across fields like you could switch between fields or merge the two fields while making an instrument,sensors In first year , it was quite hectic each month we had to give minors , after 2 minors your end semester examinations .

It’s a friendly environment like teachers are cool here, though it’s though there’s burden of homework and all the papers but yeah I guess it’s a part i Part of the life

One thing I feel like is in time is 10 o’clock for first year and after first day of the boys can roam around room after 10 and the girls need to be in the hostel

Sixth semester like that is third year The company is like a lot of companies like Amazon, Microsoft gold drawers like various companies, recently Trident picked up six students from three from tax and three from Reliance of 18,00,00 package to each. Your companies come like they are coming company Highest package was 6400,000 and average package is like 10 to Percentage of students like its mostly 80% are getting placed but it's like branch wise in my branch like 60 to 70% of being placed within average of 10 My plans after the degrees to like get a job

Wifi lan or router speed is quite good. Lan or router is depends on your hostel.
There is one reading room and one Table tennis room , and badminton court, volleyball court are available in every hostel room
In winter season, hot water is given in mess to drink.

Dislikes

There is worst restriction in 1st year about hostel.
First , your hostel gate closing time would be at 6 pm
Then it will be increased by 2 hours. Means would become 8 pm.

Placement Experience:

1) placement is offered in 7th semester 2) oracle, accenture, google , amazon , Microsoft etc 3) highest in ice branch - 44 lpa, Lowest - 5-6 lpa 4)there is 80% placement in ice branch. There is 95 % placement in ece branch. There is 80-85% placement in cse branch. 5)plan- to get a job in It company

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
