Infrastructure is good. faculty is good.
Campus Life is very good the friends are awesome.
The i like civil engineering very much and also wants a government job.

Dislikes

The labs are not good they don't have good quality equipments.
The management of fest which have in nitj are also bad.
The mess food is not so good but mess fee is high.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in this course. The main aim behind this is the government job. The faculty are well-behaved and very helpful. Most of the faculties have graduated from IITs. The exams are in two phases sem and end-sem.

Internships Opportunities

There are many opportunities for the internship. There is a ( internship representative) who helped to get a better internship. The major need is skills and self-confidence to complete the task which is provided.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Zomato, etc. The highest package is 1.2cr. Placements are according to respective like the highest placement is of the CSE branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is according to our income. The opportunities for scholarships are very much. The Campus placement is good. Scholarships are very helpful and are provided by the national scholarship portal. Campus jobs are not enough for daily life.

Campus Life

The main biggest fest at nitj are utkansh, technician, etc. The techniti is conducted in November and utkansh is in March. There are many sports activities like cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. There are many clubs like Kalakar, barware, etc.

Hostel Facilities

In the room, they provide us with one table one chair two beds and light, etc. The quality of food is fair. The registration process for a hostel is online and it is done smoothly. Overall the hostel process is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process is good. Admission of course is based on jee rank. No, the admission process is good i don't to any changes in the admission process. I found the application fee details on the website of my college. The website of Nitij is working nicely.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
