As I enrolled in mechanical engineering in which I am interested so I like the branch. In our, there are a total of 114 students. the faculties is very qualified I think there is a PhD holder and has years of experience in teaching

Our college is amongst the top 50 colleges in India so lots of companies visit our college after every academic year. Most of the students get placed at decent packages. some students grab good packages in many companies

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have not availed any fee concession my fee is almost 2lakh per year and other personal expenses are about 3 thousand per month. if anybody wants to get fee concession there are several government schemes

Campus Life

In my opinion, I am enjoying campus Life because I am socialising with people after a very long time. Our college campus is on 150 acres which is more than enough and the infrastructure is not that top tier but in terms of requirements it's more than enough

Hostel Facilities

As my hometown is far away from college so I choose hostel over pg because I wanted to experience the Typical Boys hostel vibes and I am enjoying but little bit difficulties.Mess food best in the world

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

First, we have to go through a jee examination in which we have to score good percentile to get a good college. Then we participate in jossa/csab counselling after getting any required branch and college we have submit fees and requested documents for verification after all we report to the college physically. In physical reporting, there is document verification after documents are verified you will be provided an admission letter and you can now avail of the hostel facilities

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
