Likes

I like the culture here. Seniors are very supportive.
Campus life is full of fun. Various activities from clubs, Nice Experience.
Infrastructure is good. Construction is going on for more buildings.

Dislikes

They will not provide cooler or ac in summer. It ist the biggest disadvantage.
They will not allow students in first year to campus. Hostel in time is just half hour after class.
Laboratory should not be well equipped.It too is a disadvantage.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is based on pure learning of the subjects and most of the faculties are very good. Few of them are rude because of seniority. I chose this course as I have an interest in it. Qualification of the faculty is on the basis of exam. We have mid-semester and end-semester. Sem was after 2 months of starting our classes and the end term was 2 months after our mid-term. Teaching is done on the boards and smart boards with projectors. It is not that hard to pass an exam.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities will be provided right from 3rd year, companies come and take students on the basis of coding rounds and then an interview. Those students who are selected will be awarded stipends along with work culture in companies and experience.

Placement Experience

4th year onwards students are eligible for placements. The highest package is 21 lakhs. Avg package is 8 lakhs. 45% of students are placed. While others are preparing for govt exams. Some go for the gate. I should also go for govt. Exam preparation after getting my college degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For those whose income is >5 lakh fees per semester are 88000 rupees. For 1lakh

Campus Life

Technicians and utkansh are one of the famous fests of this college. For helping students in study library are available that helps students in exam time. bhangra, art, and social-related groups are in college.

Hostel Facilities

For 1st year there are 3 hostels BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are four seater while BH5 is 2 seater(Few rooms are 3 seater). One fan, almirah for individual, one table, bed for Individual. For 2nd and 3rd year 2 seater rooms are allocated. For the 4th year single seater room is allocated. Mess food is okayish. Rented rooms or PG will be available in the city which is about 2 to 3 km away from the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission process is good. All the authorities were very helpful. Admission for this course is based on the jee main rank. All the details were displayed on the Institute website clearly. I think the admission process should be on the basis of slots.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
