I love the coding culture of Nitj.There are a number of hackathons which takes place here.
The greenery of the campus is very soothing sometimes.Different varieties of birds and peacocks are found here.
The food provided here is the best thing.

Dislikes

We need to bring awareness among students to maintain cleanliness of campus
Library should be opened for all days and for 24 hr.
There is a in time for girls at 10 pm but no in time for boys

Course Curriculum Overview

So talking about myself initially I was enrolled in btech in Industrial Production Engineering but after 1st year my branch was upgraded to Instrumentation and Control Engineering. There is a group of well-experienced and learned faculty whom you can approach anytime. There are around 120 students in my class. We have two exams in one semester one is mid semester exam and the other is an end-semester exam.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Internships Opportunities

When we are in 3rd year multiple companies come for internships. Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Citibank and many more companies come here. They conduct different rounds and finally select students for both paid and unpaid internships.

Placement Experience

Nitj provides descend placements. Both on-campus placements and internships take place. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and many more visit here. Every year the highest package offered here is around 1 crore. 90 percent of students are placed from nitj.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since I am a general student and a hostellar I pay 88,000 fees every semester also 25000 mess fees every semester. Financial aid and scholarships are provided to people with reservations or low low annual income.

Campus Life

Life at NITJ is really adventurous. You can explore almost everything you wish for. From coding to sports, from dance to drama, from singing to art, for almost everything we have clubs to learn and explore. We have a central library which is open till 8.30 pm on working days and a reading room which is open 24/7. Also, we have computer labs which are also opened on working days.

Admission

One can get admission in btech in nitj via cracking jee mains exams. The application form is published at NTA's official website. Once you crack the jee mains exam you have to apply for josaa and csab counsellings.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
