In this university you will be having stressfree lifeand you can enjoy this campus which having 900 acres and night life in Pondicherry university is awesome and the department is with high quality faculties

Dislikes

University roads are worst it is not maintained nicely and hostel food is worst

Now i am studying in second year, In first year when i took admission i paid around 22000 as a semester fee and hostel fee around 17000 and in second sem i paid around 3200 as semester fee and 10000 as hostel fee and in second year third sem i paid around 12000 and 16000 as a hostel fee

Academic is good but not good as i expected
Hostel mess food is actually a mess here. Not all time but certain time we can't have food from mess

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fee paid is different. First year i have paid 23000 because it includes registration fee and sem also. Then in second sem i have paid 3200.here we have pay extra exam fee according to the no. Credits i gain through a certain course. Then in 3rd sem i have to pay 12300 as sem fee then in 4rth sem i have to pay 3200 again. Then in 5th sem i have to pay 12300 and in 6th sem 3200.when it comes to 7th sem 12300 i have to pay and in 8th sem it would be 3200 this pattern goes for the next year also. We can gain a lot of scholarship and university is also providing scholarship to us like the first three ranks in every class will get 8000,6000,5000 as scholarship. After every semester exam the scholarship will be given. Since this is a central university we are eligiblr to apply national scholarships. E grantz, central sector, nsp, and lot more scholarships are there. There is reservation seats for sc and st. These people have to pay less amount than general category. No managem

Life in PU

Fees and Financial Aid:

I dont know about this. As I didnt acquire any of the scholarship or loan facility I am unable to answer this question. At first I got scholarship early for clearing all my papers without arrear. I dont think we are having that in our curriculum. This is changed now.

Ya they have offered scholarship for us to pay part of the amount, and other part paid by college, and my friends benefited by this scholarship, they provided , and some loan offers are being provided by our college students(family members)
