- Hostel Life is Very Enjoying and you get to spend a different life other than your Family Life.

Placement Experience:
From Final year you start getting the placements(Campus). There are multiple companies coming to our college Core Companies - ABG, JSW, Maruti Suzuki, JSPL, Adani and many more IT Companies - Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture and many more Around 70-80% students get theb placements from the college. Highest package last year is 15 lakhs and Average placement is around 6 lakhs. My plan is to get the placement and get a job in the Campius placements.

- The effectiveness of placements are really superb. Especially the placements of the core branches are absolutely good
- There are several clubs in the university which provides a exposure. It conducts several events where students take part actively
Dislikes
- The teaching methods used by the faculties are too traditional and outdated in today's world.
- The infrastructure is quite basic since its one of the oldest technical institutions in the state
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are really superb. Especially the engagement of the core branches is really good. Lots of companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Vedanta, Jindal etc visit the campus. The highest package offered was of 47 LPA and average package lies around 6-7 LPA.

- The professors here are highly experienced who got their PHD'S from top institutions of India
- The labs here are highly furnished with maximum facilities provided.
Dislikes
- The lab assistants of some of the departments are in a hurry and doesn't co-operate with students.
- There are no proper place for refreshments like amusement park , movie theatre or any parks nearby .
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester of college. The companies that visit the campus are Tata Steel,Hindalco,Maruti Suzuki,TCS,Infosys,L and T,etc.Fifty percent of the students get placed.

- Good placement record and best engineering in odisha
- Top government engineering after IIT bbsr and NIT rourkela in odisha
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester, placement process start as you enter in final years of your btech degree with good placement offers. There is stress to get placement and go for jobs with good package. Highest package is 4800000 per annum in branch of electronic and telecommunication.

- Campus is very big.Faculties are also very supportive.
- Clubs and sports facilities are quite good.
Dislikes
- Hostel intime for 1st year student is just 6:30 pm.
- Mess food is not so good,and badminton court is not maintained

Placement are quite good.Some branches offers 98-100 percent placement and average placement goes around 85 percent.The college has a good alumni network so off campus placements are also good.Internships facilities are also provided.

From 8th semester students are eligible for the campus placement Nalco, jsw, Wipro , Cisco , Infosys and Deloitte and many more they are giving package like 7 to 17 lakh Highest package is 17 lakh and avg package is 3 lakh 80% student getting placement

- Lab facilies which provide us practical knowledge.
- Administration of the University is pretty good.It handles the university smoothly.

- Hectic class schedules and regular theory classes.
- The writing of lab manuals and assignments.

A good number of companies visit the college. Students get lot of opportunity of getting placed. Around 60-70% students get placed every year. The average package is around 6lakhs and highest package is 48lakhs

- It is a very big campus around 500 acres
- It has many clubs whatever domain you want to enter you will watch there will be a club for that
Dislikes
- Hostel didn't have good gym facility,have very less equipment
- Hostel entry timming in first year is very less.You might have to give reason for late entry
Placement Experience:
From 2nd year you can expect internship but your skills should be very good.From 3rd year you will be able to get PPO.Around 80-90 companies come to provide placement.Recently vssut burla has given very large number of placement in mechanical engineering 158 students were placed in first round and 160 is the strength of mechanical students.You can expect 85-90 percent placement.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for the campus in the 6th semester. Top Indian companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Jindal, Tata Steel, and many more came for the campus. The highest package was 9 lakhs made by Tata Steel. 99% of students got placed. I had 3 jobs.

What is your review of VSSUT Burla for EE?
Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
