- It has many clubs whatever domain you want to enter you will watch there will be a club for that

- Hostel didn't have good gym facility,have very less equipment
- Hostel entry timming in first year is very less.You might have to give reason for late entry
- Mess food of someday are really very bad
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes,the course is relevant.syllabus are relevant to the point.syllabus are designed by vssut and followed by every government engineering college of odisha.Exams including mid sem and end sem occurs at a regular interval of 1.5-2 months.
Placement Experience
From 2nd year you can expect internship but your skills should be very good.From 3rd year you will be able to get PPO.Around 80-90 companies come to provide placement.Recently vssut burla has given very large number of placement in mechanical engineering 158 students were placed in first round and 160 is the strength of mechanical students.You can expect 85-90 percent placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes,You can expect if you didn't have any reservation than your college fees for first year will be approx 42000 and if it will increase the you can expect it will be not more than 45000,7-8 years from now.hostel fees will be 48000 for 1st year.And the fees will reduce by 10000-12000 in second year and it will as follows,hostel fees will be constant it will not reduce.you can get many scholarship if you general and your family yearly salary is less than 800000 than also you can get scholarship.You can get a scholarship of 20000 if you are general and satisfy the criteria and many more scholarship comes for reserved caste upto 50000 or 1.5lac.
Campus Life
There are many clubs which will enhance your skills.Whatever you want to learn there will be a club for that.It has two main fest samaves and vassaunt which held in march.samaves is cultural and vassaunt is technical.You can issue any book from library you can also study there.Classes are technically advanced.sports facilities are also good .There is a swimming pool for those who want to swim.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good,Mess food will be ok,you can't expect it will be like home.Your hostel admission will also be done during college admission.Menu is not very fancy as it is shown is college website,but for girls hostel first year mess food is very good as it is funded by MCL.
Admission
Actually I was unaware that we have to give 10000 rupees to ojee counselling for continuation of round 2 and round 3 counselling so I got spot admission into the college at 72 percentile in production engineering at vssut,burla.Here 1st year fees including hostel is around 90000 and without hostel it is 42000.if you opt for TFW than the fees are 78000 for hosteller and 30000 for day boarder.The exams not as much difficult,admission process is also very smooth but it takes around 3-4 hours during admission day.You can expect cse at around 60000 rank and electrical at 200000 rank,or if you just want to enter you can apply in spot round counselling.Due to internal sliding process you may also get good branch at low rank and percentile.
