Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

I like the interactive sessions and corporate expert lectures we get here in the form of talk show, guest lecture, etc
I like the campus area and greenery all around. It really helps in relaxing and re-energizing after a long day.
Last but not the least, the campus is taken care of the students in every aspects like having gym, swimming pool, zumba sessions, cafes, beauty parlour, etc

Dislikes

I dislike the mess timing for lunch and dinner.

Placement Experience:

The college provide us with both the summer placements and final placements. Here, we have recruiters from legacy companies like ITC, HUL, Col-PAL, etc as well as the well to domstartup comapnies. As here we have 5 programs on the campus namely MBA in HR, MKT, FINANCE, BA & IDM. The offers varied for each specialization. I want to lead an empowering corporate life after passing out form here. The campus is priviledged to have a 100% placements.

Likes

Infrastructure - spread across 75 acres.
Campus Life - very good campus life and eateries outside the college.
Decent Placements - in just 5 years SIBM N placed the students very well

Dislikes

Teachers Pedagogy - Same old school teaching style
Too far from main city - Cab prices are very costly
Hectic Schedule - its 24*7 studies, club & committee work, sports, assignment, etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is as per the industry standards, or to say; we study the same topics that SIBM Pune folks study. Talking about the faculty it really depends on you and how you like their teaching standard, in general, they are good at teaching you the core concepts but other than that you have to give it a push. All the faculty teaching here are Ph.D.s. Exams schedules are as follows - Quizzes every alternate week, mid-terms, end term

Its too early for me to share any experience. But as of now, me being in sem 1,i can tell that teaching is good, once you get the number of your counsellors the communication is easier with regards to anything to be conveyed or receive communication

Dislikes

Classes with participants of 600-800 students are there and since it's held on zoom, it feels like a Webinar.

Placement Experience:

Placement Assistance is what is available. Since I am still in sem 1, I don't know anything more with regard to how they will be communicating the details regarding the placements. No one was able to give details of the package for online learning. All that was told was it would be looked at as symbiosis as a whole and not the segments.
